without warning, there is a sharp pain in the center of his back. He gasps and clutches at his chest. An arrow is protruding from it, piercing his heart. As he continues to fall, he tries to pull at the arrow, but his strength fades immediately. With a soft sigh, his life escapes him.

Static's lifeless body lands with a solid thud in the center of the group standing at the base of the tower. There are gasps, and even one choked sob. Before anyone can rush to the Gunslinger's corpse, SoulofSerenity raises his arms, holding everyone back.
"Wait." he says, simply.
From the center of Static's chest, the arrowhead begins to glow. Softly at first, and then more and more brightly. The glow spreads down the shaft of the arrow and then seems to spread through Static's chest first, and then the rest of his body. The arrow glows brighter and brighter until noone can even look directly at it. They all shield their eyes.
When the light fades, Static is standing there before them, alive and unharmed. He rolls his head slowly, cracking his neck audibly.
"That," he says, finally, "was unpleasant."

'Wow.....' Jazaf starts He turns to Soul, 'Any of them turn into party favors? No? just thought I'd ask.'
Jazaf sighs and walks to the wall of the tower.
'So, what now?' Greek asks.
'This is not my Tower. I must leave and find it' Static says matter-of-factly.
'Anybody have any good escape artist like plans?' Serenity says.
Jazaf turns to Soul with a crafty smile on his face. 'Hey Soul, you can go through wall right?'
Soul nods.
'Think you can take us through it? I mean, if it's not too much of a strain. I could always try to cut through the walls again, but if it comes down to that someone is gonna have to carry me.'

Soul stares at Jazaf for a moment, and then grins himself. "You know, now I feel like an idiot." He turns to the group. "Okay, here's how it's gotta work. We need to form a human chain. I'm pretty sure that as long as we stay holding hands, I can get us all through the wall. Just please don't let go. I really don't think anyone here wants to become a permanent part of the wall."
Soul holds out his hands. Jazaf grabs one hand, while Static reluctantly grabs the other. Safe picks up Serenity and they join the growing line. Quickly, everyone is joined in a human chain. Soul closes his eyes and focuses his energy, and steps forward. He feels the familiar sensation as he begins to pass through the wall, and he can feel the others as well. He takes another step and he's through the wall. He waits until he can feel that everyone is through, and then he relaxes and opens his eyes to see--

Safe looks around, guages distances and curses, "Gorramit, there's not enough room in here for me to try any explosive on the walls. Serenity, you didn't happen to see any windows on your way down?"
Serenity shakes her head.
Safe sizes up Static, "any point in trying to head back up gunslinger?"

Oooh, idea!!
Safe, you said you have explosives, but you can't use them here because there's not enough space. What if there's a spot somewhere up higher we could try to blast a hole? Could we do that without bringing the whole place down on our heads?
And did anyone bring rope?

Safe pauses in his consideration of Serenity's idea to listen. "Hold on Serenity, I want to see where this goes. Plus I have a feelin' PR knows more than he's sayin'. Tho' I don't have a handle on the mental stuff, nor the magic type stuff, moreofa guns, blades, knuckles kinda guy, but I adapt fast."
