I'd like to be able to go to somebody's profile and find out all their recent posts.

Speaking of which, what's Tim Minear's handle?

Tim Minear's handle is ... TimMinear.

How recent do you want to see their posts?

Why not make it selectable? "Last 10; Last Week; All." Or something like that.

Done. It'll be the last 10 posts of the user. Just click on the user, which will take you to the user's profile. It'll be displayed there.

Click on the link and it'll take you straight to the post.

I did one better. I added another column which shows all posts by all users today. This is part of Tieka's FIREFLYFANS.NET Today idea.

Uh, oh. All of a sudden, I can't go to any profile except my own. If I click on somebody else's name, I get the right URL (showprofile.asp?u=936 or whatever), but it's still my profile, not theirs.

Out of curiosity, I went to a browser I'd never used to login (there's no way to log out!) and accessed various people's profiles. That works correctly.

Speaking of other browsers, there are display issues with Konqueror. Do you care?

You really should provide a way to logout, so people can access the site from public systems.

Oops...sorry about that. Typo. It's been fixed now.

Display issues are difficult to resolve.

There's just no way for me to make the site look right for all the browsers out there. Since my log says that about 85% of the people who visits this site uses IE 5+, that is the browser I tweak the site for. After that, it's Netscape 6.x, then probably Opera.

I think when I've done all I can programming wise, I'll go back and tweak the look and feel, probably not for a while though.

The logout is something that will take me a while to do.

It's one of those things that I just didn't think about when I first dreamed up this site and is now causing me a bit of grief.

I'll work on it and let you all know when it's done.
