The Right Sector, which was part of the armed, trained phalanx of Maidan, is having problems with the bankers' government of Kiev. And the Kiev government is having problems with them:

Several thoughts on the topic:
All areas of Ukraine are forming "civil defense" squads. Some of them are made up by the Right Sector who have no problem moving into a new area and imposing their brand of politics. Others are fairly homegrown. The government of Kiev itself is creating a "national guard". I wouldn't be surprised if contested areas have conflicting "civil defense" groups.
Here's the thing: What happened to the army of the Ukraine? I can understand the Ukrainian army being deactivated in Crimea, but why does the government in Kiev feel the need to create and entirely new entity- a national guard- unless they feel that they can't depend on the army?
This seems to me that civil war is a possibility, especially since the government just raised the price of nat gas by 50%, and was set to reduce pensions by 50%.

Moody's downgrades Ukraine credit rating, again. Quote:
Moody's announced on its website on Friday that it would downgrade Ukraine's sovereign rating by one notch, pushing up the cost of borrowing money for the country's government.
The New-York based assessor lowered Ukraine from Caa2 to Caa3, following a previous downgrade in January. The Caa rating is a credit risk grading based on speculative investment risks. The current downgrade takes Ukraine from Moody's "extremely speculative" rating to "default imminent with little prospect for recovery."

The solution, of course, is Federalization: give each region a tax base and autonomy in terms of language and civil security. But Kiev is still trying to incite western involvement. If Putin is smart, he won't take the bait- he'll just make the Ukraine a festering economic and civil sore on the EU's backside.
Kiev will probably continue its countermeasures- still trying to provoke a Russian response and western military involvement. I have no idea how far they will go in eastern/southern Ukraine. Mass arrests? Martial law? Military measures against demonstrators? The west has NATO exercises planned for the Ukraine for next month (?). Hopefully the Russian will see this as turnabout/ fair play.

Bc rather than Russia pulling troops from the Pokrovsk front, Kiev pulled troops from other areas of the front to reinforce Pokrovsk defense. Thus led to weakness south of Pokrovsk, in the Ugladar area, where Russia is now advancing rapidly.
