THUGR: Comrade signym's first visit to the China thread.
Comrade signyms second post in the China thread. It clearly shows she didn't understand any of the consequences of China going under.
All it shows is I think Zeihan's catastrophizing about China's population crash is ridiculous. China has a number of problems. An imminent population crash isn't one of them.
You doubt China has an imminent population crisis after all I've presented about it.
Thank you for proving I'm right when I call you dumb. And, incapable of absorbing facts you do not wish to hear.
I'll try to educate you again. Remember, this is just about the population. It does not include the myriad of other problems they have.

You'll love this one comrade signym. It from 9 years ago and it's all about Russia. Start it about 3 minutes.
And if you can add 2+2, you'll realize why Putin went into Ukraine. And it's just as Zeihan predicted.

Russia's Demographic Crisis: Dimensions. Causes Implications
Russia's demographic trends portend a crisis of alarming proportions for the country's future human and social capital, as explicated in grave detail in the National Bureau of Asian Research report Russia's Peacetime Demographic Crisis: Dimensions, Causes, Implications by Nicholas Eberstadt.

THUGR. Comrade. You're missing Zeihan's focus on IMMINENT.
Next.
Ten.
Years.
According to projections, China's population will fall from 1.4 to 1.3 billion, in ten years.
Hardly the IMMINENT CRISIS that Zeihand predicts.
Yes, EVENTUALLY (2100) China's population is projected to fall quite a bit.
But not imminently.
Why isn't Zeihan's hair on fire about Japan?
Or S Korea?
Or Germany?

They are important economic partners and are projected to decline as much as China. All of these nations, and more, are expected to decline to about half of their peak population, BY 2100.
But that's like, 75 years from now.
Why are you so determined to defend a point that Zeihan went over a cliff with? Population crash most likely, but it's not IMMINENT, and not likely to cause a collapse in ANY of these nations in the next ten years. Especially when there are so many other more pressing economic, fiscal, foreign relations, and financial problems.
Let's move on to other issues.

Idiot globalists like Peter Zeihan always say the solution to every problem is more people. Because they built everything on pyramid schemes that will crumble unless everybody keeps fucking and breeding until finally we hit the wall and the pyramids all come crashing down at the same time.
I don't EVER want to hear one single fucking thing out of you about climate change ever again, Ted.
YOU are the largest carbon footprint you know. If you had any children you only made that worse by prolonging past your own lifespan and keeping that growth potentially exponential.
Half of the world population needs to be gone. If we don't voluntarily do that over the next couple of generations, people like Peter Zeihan's bosses are going to figure out a way to do it for us and you're not going to like their solution.
And the big problem right now is all of the people who should be having kids aren't having any, or are having way too few while everybody else makes up for that and more, exponentially.
And no, to preempt you saying something stupid I'm not talking about race. I'm talking about intelligence level. The dumber people are, the more kids they have. While the smart people are waiting longer and finding a million and one legitimate reasons why the time isn't right until one day they just don't have any. Many of those reasons are financial reasons. All the dumb white people have too many kids too. This isn't a racially based phenomena. And even if it were to appear to be, statistically speaking based on graphs, that's a cultural problem that has nothing to do with skin color.
We pay people to have kids, and we penalize people who don't have kids. Granted... I can't deny that stupid and/or completely uneducated and financially destitute people in countries that don't have the will or means to give everyone with kids a life raft still do it anyway, so I'm not claiming that free government money is the catalyst for dumb people having too many kids, but it ain't helping matters any.
Right now, this is still a problem that could have a carrot based solution...
You want government help? Well you pay it back by NOT having kids.
That goes triple if its the US Taxpayer funding that help outside of the country.
The ONLY support and humanitarian aid that America should be responsible for is education and access to birth control. Period.
Until people start being honest with themselves and with each other that overpopulation is already a problem and things are only going to get worse as far as climate change, wars and almost any societal problem you can list off unless everyone stops having so many damn kids, then you're not going to solve any of them. Recycling your plastic and driving around a giant battery isn't going to solve shit. Those are band-aids on bullet wounds.

Uh....
This is like pulling yourself up by your bootstraps. The problem with the concept is that you have to pump more energy into breaking water apart into oxygen and hydrogen that can be recovered by recombining them.
In a perfect world, the amount of energy going into one process is exactly the same as the energy being released, which means you wouldn't get any useful work out. Car no go. But this isn't a perfect world, so in practice it would be a net energy sink, and car still no go.
Tellingly, this well produced video is not from Toyota itself.
So, can we move on to some REAL WORLD issues? Or should we just ignore your posts?
"The floor", as they say, "is yours".

Yeah. We see bullshit like this all the time.
And the media doesn't help none because they don't actually do any research before reporting stories on the new gamechanging technology that is going to revolutionize the world until nothing ever comes of it. Almost all of it could be immediately debunked because they break the laws of thermodynamics.
Jaynez just posted that article the other day about new alleged battery technology out of China that allows you to charge your car in only 10 minutes. That is bullshit. There is no way we could charge an EV in 10 minutes. Not even if we threw every legitimate safety measure out the window or if we were talking about new battery tech in development that only has 20 recharge cycles instead of 2,000 or more. A 10 minute car charge for 300 miles of driving around a car that weighs twice as much as gas burning cars is pure fantasy. If battery tech like that existed, we'd have all been using it to charge our cellphones in 10 minutes long before it ever made its way into cars. But somebody can make articles claiming that China figured it out because who's going to go over to China and debunk the claim?
People need to use their brains and stop buying into all of this crap. It's shit like this that leads people to being scammed out of collective billions funding kickstarters like "Solar Freakin' Roadways". Go watch Thunderf00t's channel on YouTube where he constantly debunks bullshit projects just like this.
They're all backed by people's guilt, which is far easier to manipulate than the laws of science are.

Seems that Pedo Zeihan is a propagandist
It can be done they hydrig a lot of design these days anyways, there are many types of battery 'Heat Battery' the thermal stores is a thing for example, Compressed air is energy storage, Gravity Fluid Pumped thermal energy storage etc and with electro chemical there are all different types Lithium–copper oxide, zinc–manganese dioxide, Acid, Nickel–metal hydride, AgZn, Lithium–iron disulfide and you would probably use new material science and perhaps a series of super conductor and Supercapacitors stacked next to each other and then linked to battery used in applications requiring many rapid charge/discharge cycles, of course the Car might be tiny for now a little dinky kids Buggy but you scale up over time.
Maybe AI will help figure it out chians of electro chemical combinations maybe nickel lithium in some redox-active nitroxyl-containing polymers inside a salen complex and something designed with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
When you read articles like this sometimes the Cars are 'Robots' also to charge stuff fast there is chemical reaction that happens inside the battery while you charge it a lot of heat often needs to be released, resistors, wires and other components need to work well otherwise stuff can explode
https://jlcrobotics.com/work-to-charge-ratio/
one day mankind might figure out how to charge almost as fast as flame thrower or a lighting bolt if they could figure out the ultimate 'Battery Management'

It's not a problem for me that you cannot understand that if the decline in total population is not matched by an equal or greater increase in productivity (GDP/capita), and that condition continues from one calendar quarter to the next, that country would experience a decline in GDP. This is known as an economic recession.
If these conditions become permanent the country could find itself in a permanent recession. As is predicted to happen to China because it's population decline is so dramatic.
Even if their EV output is a success, one industry cannot sustain a country. Especially a country of more than a billion.
