And one thing that's agreed to by all, is Russia's dead.
Like I'm supposed to believe the Davos crowd? Well, a billion flies eat shit.
And Zeihan isn't even a decision-maker. Why do you think he's talking to community colleges and small audiences like ECC (Engineering Construction Contractors) and BEC (Fintech) and shopping his talks to every YouTuber who will interview him. He's a lightweight who grabs random factoids and bogus stats and entertaining quips and ties it all off with click-bait headlines.
You have opinions and little
else; wrongheaded opinions to say the least. Why, because comrade, you hate America and Americans.
I've listened to many more talks of his and other globalists than I've posted here. Some of his, I've posted here as a sort of theme. I was hoping readers would understand what he was saying. You and some others here apparently never will.
But hey comrade, this is from a year ago and it looked as though Russia might pull a rabbit out of its hat and do better in Ukraine than it appears today.

I listen to a lot of people and I listened to a couple of his videos. I understand what Zeihan is saying, and I think I know why. For the most part, I don't think I'll get much useful info or analysis. But thanks for bringing him to my attention.

No steel? Cement? Textiles? Mostly driven by chip fabs, it seems.

US Steel was once the most valuable company in the world. Monday, it agreed to be purchased for $14.1 billion, or $55 a share, by Nippon Steel, Japan’s largest steelmaker. That $14.1 billion sale price, while a 40% premium from where US Steel’s stock closed Friday before the deal was announced, makes it a minor leaguer in today’s economy.

Zeihan's got books to sell and talks to get fees for.
You can tell by his TED-talk style: chirpy quips and wry asides and gaspingly outrageous headliners. And his totally trashed facts.
He does get some things right, but its by accident.

And dumbshit Ted thinks Peter is only talking about Chinese EVs failing.
He's talking about all EVs failing.
He even cherry picks thoughts of a guy who he's made a thread about.

You're making my point for me. I posted that the USA needs to reindustrialize. YOU posted that steel production was going to take off in the USA. I posted a chart that shows that SO FAR, investment in ANY basic production aside from chip fabs is NOT increasing, and it seems steel is so low it doesn't even make the chart.
Are you saying that the purchase of US Steel by Nippon Steel is part of that skyrocketing re-industrialization that you expect?
If not, what are you trying to to say?

that weirdo pedo Zeihan is a pevert
even with the good-ish data he isnt really worth listening to, he does mix false with true facts but he's sensationalist and trying to sell another book
One thing however I do agree with is Russian is not going to truly win that war, it has lost too many people, but neither will Ukraine win
it has become something of a stalemate with Russians have some small gains recently and paying a lot in blood in meat grinder warfare
Analysis: In a ‘meat grinder’ of a war, Russian and Ukrainian casualties rise

very true
he seems politically unbalanced, he HATES former President Trump
Zeihan says if the USA does not have open borders then America will withdraw from the world...there are a lot of Elephants in the Room he does not discuss, binLaden hiding in Pakistan, 911, the Saudi and actions of Israel
smaller countries that have been utterly destroyed by USA vs Russia the Soviet era or ColdWar politics, he sounds like a sleazy banker or a war monger propagandist at times.
Lots of false fallacy, info that is warped or misleading, superficial, anecdotal examples, he has history but a lot of it is ' Post hoc ergo propter hoc ' examples, false equivalency, implausible comparisons hidden as 'good data'

Some would call Japan Western especially when compared to Asscrakistan or North Korea or Cuba or Russia.
Types like him were saying the street Pooping Hindu and their Guru elite family brahmin preachers would be superpowers of the Earth, the rest of the world just goes extinct and Street Shitters win they say and it all changes, the big change being collapsing demographics
He seems to be in George Friedman circles which would be USA, Hungary, Israel and maybe New Zealand, he seems to have trouble even understanding the British, Aussies, South Africans, Canadians etc he should at least understand the Aussies working around some Susan Eisenhower group in Australia but he often just seems lost, Friedman wrote this really stupid book 'The Coming War with Japan in 1991' The war he predicted did not ever occur.

Industry is coming home. That means new plants and warehouses will be built across the country. So yes, steel is going to take off.
