Sometimes I disagree with SixString but I will give SixString credit for posting reasonably accurate predictions when it comes to interest rates, the Dollar, inflation, perhaps he remembers previous recessions

Yes. I remember previous recessions very well. Even the one that was already happening before I was born.
Although it appears that the FED isn't planning on raising the interest rates to the levels that made mortgages peak momentarily at over 23%, it's a crime how much interest people with pay over 30 years with the amortization at just roughly 7%.
This Biden*omics recession sucks balls though. The GWB didn't raise the prices on things you needed to live like this one is.

Prediction for 2023...Although both are part of Group C both Spain and Japan meet in the final....maybe that's too crazy a guess.
Don't ask me who wins, 5 goals...maybe Japanese ...Spain is scoring goals or Canada? Germany? Team USA hey beat Vietnam by 3 goals but something feels wrong. I think Sweden, Denmark, France, China, Mexico, Brazil and Japan are also good...maybe even an upset and Holland the Dutch Netherlands or Portuguese wake up or Portugal get a win over USA. England and Spain also rank high but currently the USA is number 1 even though the US Women's Team Lost in the Olympics. I do not know who is the best Female Goal Scorer or Player or Goal Keeper.

To be fair, there's nothing special about Oppenheimer's performance, other than the timing of the release. It made $174,157,000 worldwide on opening weekend vs. a $180 Million budget (97%), which puts it in 15th place for the year on that list between Jesus Revolution and Fast X.
The 337% that Barbie got with a WW opening of $337 Million vs. a $100 Million production budget, however, puts it in 3rd place for the year between M3GAN and Sound of Freedom, and below Insidious: The Red Door and Super Mario Bros as well. (Yes, Barbie beat Super Mario Bros on the same $100 Million budget in the Domestic Box Office, but wasn't seen as much internationally opening weekend.)
I've got to hand it to the marketing team at Warner Bros. They finally learned to keep the director, actors and anyone else involved on a very short leash online, and did a great job lying to everybody about what this movie was to get people into the theaters to see it.
Meanwhile, WB just got $155 Million worth of moviegoers to take their kids to a movie with the lyrics "That pussy so cold, we just chillin' out" and "The fuck they gon' say now? (Grrah), I'm washin' these bitches, I'm rubbin' the stain out" by "feminist icon" Nicki Minaj. I'm surprised they didn't just have all the Barbies twerking to "Wet Ass Pussy" in the middle of the movie.
Everybody was so busy hating on Woke Disney this year that WB came right in and released this woke, child grooming trash without anybody doing any digging beforehand.
