Russian priest who advised women to give birth more often so as not to be afraid to send children off to war is killed in Ukraine
At the end of October, Vasilyev participated in an episode of a talk show on a Russian Orthodox TV channel Spas, in which he, while answering a question on what women that do not want to send their children off to war should do, advised them to give birth to more children.
“God has permitted every lady to give birth to a lot of kids. If a lady, while fulfilling the commandment to ‘be fruitful and multiply’, gave up the artificial ways of terminating pregnancies <...> then obviously, she would have more than one kid. Which means she will not be as pained and terrified to say goodbye to her child, even if it’s a temporary goodbye,” he said back then.

The Defense Department says it will support Ukraine for ‘as long as it takes.’
The Pentagon’s resolution to supplying Ukraine with weaponry and the new command are clear signals that the U.S. expects the threat from Russia to Ukraine and its neighbors to persist for years, officials said.
The Defense Department is setting up a new command to oversee how the United States and its allies train and equip the Ukrainian military, the Pentagon announced on Friday . . .
The latest announcement brings to $18.9 billion the amount in military assistance that the United States has committed to Ukraine since Russia invaded on Feb. 24. From 1940 through 1996, the USA spent nearly $5.5 trillion ($5,500 billion) on nuclear weapons and weapons-related programs, in constant 1996 dollars. That was only because of Russia. If you are not aware, Putin has repeatedly threatened to nuke the USA in the last week. Putin would have already done it for real if the $5,500 billion had not been spent to stop him.
