Russia Threatens 'Doomsday' if Ukraine Attacks Crimea
Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia's defense council, made his threat in a statement to Russian state media TASS.
"Some ecstatic, bloody clowns, who pop up there with some statements now and then, are trying to threaten us, I mean attacks on Crimea and so on," Medvedev told a group of WWII veterans in Volgograd.
"Should anything of the kind happen, they will be faced with a doomsday, very quick and tough, immediately. There will be no avoiding it," Medvedev continued.
Ukraine's response: "'A little more, and I'll show you all!' Show what? Kill another child?"

Russia Failing to Protect Tanks Against U.S. Weapons, Causing Mass Losses

In total, Russia is estimated to have more than 2,800 tanks in military units with another 10,000 in storage, according to an April report from the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
Many of these tanks are considered to be technologically advanced—specifically the T-90M tank, considered to be the strongest in Putin's possession. These tanks include a multi-channel sighting system, a turret with more armor plating and a main gun more powerful than those in many other tanks.
Despite its strength, some of Russia's T-90M tanks have been destroyed amid the conflict with Ukraine. The failure to strategically use the stronger tanks has weakened the military, causing mass losses for its other tanks, according to the Times.
Ukraine's Ministry of Defense estimates that Russia has lost 1,687 tanks since the war began in February, among other significant losses to Russian aircraft, artillery systems and other vehicles.

Ramzan Kadyrov, the Chechen leader and top ally of Vladimir Putin, said Sunday that he is waiting on an order from the Russian president to blast Western countries to "smithereens."
Kadyrov made the declaration in a Telegram post that announced the completion of a new Chechen regiment called "North-Akhmat," which was one of four that the Chechen leader announced was being formed last month to help replenish Russia's troops during its ongoing war with Ukraine. He wrote that Russia is the only country in the world to "speak out against the infernal abomination that the West spreads," and that he is grateful that Putin "made such a correct decision and gave us the opportunity to take part in this sacred struggle against Satanism."
"We are ready to go further on orders, to easily take Kyiv and the NATO countries," the post read. "Our units, hardened in real battles, will not be able to resist any army in the world. We have experience, arsenal, faith, patriotism, idea and TRUTH! The West does not yet understand how strong WE are!"
Kadyrov added that with one order from Putin, "we are ready to smash the false-democratic, pseudo-liberal and military-barbaric campaign of Western states, which are corrupting the world community in an attempt to subdue the entire globe under them, to smithereens."
Russian officials have repeatedly threatened Western countries, particularly those in NATO, against direct interference in the war in Ukraine. Putin has even warned of "retaliatory strikes" against countries that "create a strategic threat to Russia," leading to fears that the conflict could spread beyond Ukraine's borders. Experts told Newsweek in May that NATO has already crossed the line that Putin has said would justify such an attack.
The Chechen leader has publicly stated Chechnya's readiness for a large-scale military mobilization against Ukraine and other Western countries for months as the Russia-Ukraine war has raged on.
In May, Kadyrov said in a video that after Ukraine, he is ready to attack NATO member Poland, and told the European country that it "better take back" the weapons it provided to Ukraine to aid it in its counteroffensive.
"After Ukraine, if we're given the command, in six seconds we'll show you what we're capable of," Kadyrov said.
Meanwhile in June, he shared an ominous video showing a mass gathering of his armed forces. The Chechen leader gave a speech before the troops about ensuring "peace" in the world, saying that "Western European states have made all possible attempts to destroy our state."
Earlier this month, Kadyrov published another lengthy Telegram post that pleaded for permission for his forces to join the war in Ukraine to "get even with our blood enemies."

Russia Says It's Losing because Ukraine Has Experimental Mutant Troops Created in Secret Biolabs
That claim was made Monday by two Russian lawmakers heading up a commission to investigate “biolaboratories” in Ukraine, Kommersant reported.
Konstantin Kosachev, the deputy speaker of Russia’s Federation Council, and Irina Yarovaya, deputy chair of the State Duma, touted what they described as bombshell findings from the “investigation.”
Testing of Ukrainian POWs’ blood, they claimed, uncovered “a range of diseases” that suggest they were secretly experimented on “for military purposes.”
“And we see: the cruelty and barbarity with which the military personnel of Ukraine behave, the crimes that they commit against the civilian population, those monstrous crimes that they commit against prisoners of war, confirm that this system for the control and creation of a cruel murder machine was implemented under the management of the United States,” Yarovaya was quoted telling reporters.
“And those performance enhancing drugs that they are still given in order to completely neutralize the last traces of human consciousness and turn them into the most cruel and deadly monsters also confirm this,” she claimed.
Bizarrely, she also claimed that the presence of Hepatitis A antibodies in Ukrainian prisoners’ blood was proof of an American biolabs conspiracy, since a former health minister for Ukraine was a dual Ukrainian-American citizen who had worked to acquire drugs for the treatment of hepatitis in the country.
“It is quite possible that this was about testing these drugs on military personnel,” Yarovaya said.
The claims appeared to be a new take on the biolabs conspiracy theory that Russia’s Defense Ministry has routinely rolled out to try and justify the war.

The Russian TV joke explained: To the veterinarian it is a special operation. To the worms it is genocide. Nobody laughed, so at least the Russians have some small understanding of what they are saying.
