I had a root canal done once a number of years ago. Apparently it was a weird tooth bc one of the roots had calcified in and she had a hard time finding it, but eventually she did. The other thing I remember is that she packed the roots with something that looked like short toothpicks but were saturated with some sort of antibiotic. (I asked what they were. They had a very strong taste.) The dentist on put a temporary crown, then a permanent crown, not a filling. Have had no problems with it since. I don't even remember which tooth it was now. I hope your experience is as smooth as mine was.

Yup, eggs are a no go. I did find that I had a package of ramenesque noodles in the cupboard and ate them for supper. I don't eat them much but it was a good thing I had them on hand.
The dentist had no problem getting the root out and yes, they had to put in some antibiotic stuff the first time I went in. This time as I said another temporary filling then a permanent one on Tuesday. This is a right canine tooth and I haven't had any problems so far. So I should be okay.

But I had a friend have one done and she had problems with it. Maybe it's different if you are younger. She was in her late 30s or early 40s when she got hers done.
I don't even know what the "temporary thing" is. I thought it was just like a more invasive root scaling and planing. I didn't realize they were adding extra parts.

Still a little colder than I prefer when working outside, but the forecast went up to 61 for the high today. 1% chance of rain, so it looks like mowing the lawn shouldn't be a problem.

They have to remove the root and since there was an infection, they had to put in some antibiotics. Hence the temporary covering.
For me yes. I had no pain. Just a weird feeling as the freezing came out. But that's usually my reaction to freezing.

So, what did you do? And how was the weather? And what does the yard look like now??
I managed to squeeze in an hour here and there of weeding the front yard. I think I have about 12 hours to go.

I'm afraid there's no way my car could make that trip, and if the Giant Flying Spaghetti Monster wanted me to fly I'd be able to afford a jetpack.

The weather was perfect for it. High 50's/Low 60's all day with a decent amount of sun. Just the right temp for doing a lot of work.
Mowed the lawn first... Always a big job.
And I nearly snapped my ankle off trying to navigate the landmine field that is the extra 2ft of back yard that I have now that the people flipping the house behind me put up an awesome new fence and brought it back into their yard where it should be.
I don't know if they were ever going to get around to busting out the concrete from the old post holes, and after risking my lawnmower and having a hell of a time mowing around all of that 4 times already, today was the day to fix it. I probably swung that 20lb sledgehammer 60 to 80 times. Used up two 5 gallon buckets of clay/stone that I'd saved when scooping out the sump well last year and the rest of the loose dirt I had on hand to fill everything so it's all safe to cut and I won't break my leg.
After that I cleaned all the helicopters from all the gutters on the house and garage.
Then I used the leaf blower to clean up the front and back porch, the driveway and the curbs with my sewer. I also cleared out the curb by the ditch along with that sewer as well as my new neighbor's curb/sewer. They're new here and probably don't have any clue the mess they just walked into.
It was a productive day. I'm wrecked.

I just spent 6-8 hours or so doing that last weekend. Not my most favorite thing to do, but not my least favorite either.
