Out for a walk in the rain. Need some groceries.

Put the poison down today and got the hoses out right before the big rains set in.
One of the hose nozzles is knackered and I'll need to get a replacement. Luckily for me, they're on sale right now for a great price so I'm going to pick up a few backups when I go out.
Going to clean the kitchen/bathroom/living room and get some laundry done. I'll be going to my Grams and aunts probably tomorrow night through Friday to help get some more things done while my aunt is on vacation, but they're probably coming over this weekend for the first time in a few months to see what I've been working on since they've last been here, so I want the place really clean.

It is a drag. But I got lucky this morning. It decided to dry out for my walk and errands.

Ehhh, I'm sure we'll eat, but I haven't gone out to eat with them since the Covid crap. I was never big on going out to restaurants in the first place, so there's no arguments from me. She was only barely 87 when that all came down. Pushing 90 now. The lack of exercise for two years has kind of taken its toll on her. She won't do anything unless she's pushed into it.
I'm sure I'll get a game or two of Upwords in with her tomorrow in between helping out my aunt.

I've been teaching myself Sudoku and even tho it's a game (mostly) of logic, some games ARE harder than others and some REQUIRE taking a guess. Even in that, there's luck involved. So, best of luck!

Cool. One of my mah jong group was learning that game. Not sure if she stuck with it though.
I had tiny bit of luck. Finished off the morning with over 3,000points but I didn't win anything. Oh well. I had one decent hand that got me over 2,000points because it was all winds and dragons. Those pieces are worth the most. So, that was 3 doubles then I had another 2 doubles plus one flower that was my own for the round.
Oh, how I hate my allergies. They used to show up only in the Spring but now they can run all year. I did get some more eye drops. Have to have them on hand for when I vacuum or take anything down to recycling or the garbage.
