Yet these Russians have almost avoided fighting near Lozova, Dnipropetrovsk, are they going to bypass these areas and hit from the rear in the central part of Ukraine? That sounds almost silly and impossible but what if these Russians surrounded everything else, had a military advantage and shut down the heart of the government and surrounded everything else in a larger rear outflanking attack from both the North and South, splitting Ukraine.
There was one big movement thing on the ground I had not considered. The larger pincer movement attack, a military attack by two coordinated forces that close in on a position from different directions. I'm no expert in this stuff and never went to war but I guess I have read history and sometimes I see things. One thing I had not considered is that Russia might use some kind of giant Crab claw pincer claw movement, you seen this repeated many times in old wars, in board games, in video games and in historical battles. In my first drawing map picture I made a crude image of Ukraine and colored Red what I thought Russia or Putin might be going for. I thought they might want to push past the river and leave some cities or Ukraine areas surrounded or trapped.
However I did not see they could make a much larger claw movement, out flank them maneuver around and behind the flank of an opposing force and what if these Ukraine areas are much, much bigger and they have no desire to control them yet, because they are resuppling now and planning a bigger movement, leaving their troops in place until they get more fuel and more ammo, and then when they are well stocked. They are going ignore Lubny, ignore Poltava etc maybe to make a massive Crab claw pincer claw movement.
Chernihiv now completely surrounded, the Capital Kiev or Kyiv surrounded, then Kherson surrounded, Mykolaiv Oblast surrounded all they have to do is join the claw, make it pinch and they have everything cut off, the local Ukraine resistance is putting up a good fight but we must also consider there are regions Russians seem to ignore and other areas are seen as better wins, they view its importance in battle differently. It's difficult to know what Ruskies are doing, they seem to be chaotic and almost incompetent at times, they should not be hyped up but they should not be under estimated either, maybe the Russians have planned a larger movement. Many say Putin is going more crazy, he is surrounded by yes men who are afraid of him and will never question his orders, perhaps the crazy Putin has gone mad and wildly miscalculated. Russia if it is pushing the claw surround movement it might try to make the large claw movement soon, the longer this conflict
