I think it depends on where you go in Scotland - but I`m sure there will be some rain soemwhere in the UK.

Hi Guys,
Im new to these forum things because technology hates me. But wanted to introduce myself and declare my love of Firefly. Im Sarah, 19, from York, England though im currently doing an arts degree in Cheshire at Manchester Met Uni. I attended the wonderful Fusion last year and have just (yesterday) bought my ticket for Serenity. dread to think what number i am!
Was wondering who else has found accomodation outside the hotel. Ive booked into Heathrow Lodge and was hoping there would be some other convention goers there. Also hoping its not a long walk everyday. didnt look too bad on the map.
Looking forward to seeing u all in April.

The Heathrow Lodge is circled & the Thistle is the Big Named building to the right.

p.s. I boked my ticket at the begining of the month and I`m ticket 553, so I guess it may get a bit crowded in the main hotel.

How long did it take for your ticket to arrive? I wont relax completely until i have it in my hand.

Hi Again,
I phoned up on the 6th (I think), paid by credit card & the ticket arrived on the 19th, so just under 2 weeks. The strangest thing, I was beginning to get worried because there hadn`t been a credit card tranasction until the 18th - but everything is okay and It`s all paid for now.
So best advice really is to wait a full 2 weeks and then ring again if you still haven`t had anything through by post.

p.s. If the weather is bad, you could always be a bit cheeky and ask for the coutesy bus to take you to the other hotel especially if you are gonna wear costume + of course there`s the added sense of security too.

My friend michelle and I are numbers 616 and 617. Not bad considering i was number 1667 at Fusion last year. Wonder how they compare venue size?
