What's wrong with elderly Dutch woman?
Not that I'm elderly, but Dutch and woman.

I haven`t met any Dutch women before to form an opinion

Cheers CapnEric for the comment on the Costume design - That`s my gig for at least some of the time at the con - I`m glad the hotel doesn`t have a metal detector installed otherwise that could be fun (gun, spurs, belt, braces etc.)

Hello
I'm pretty new here, but thought as I've read this whole very, very long post I'd gather up the confidence and introduce myself.
I'm Lauren. My boyfriend, Carl, and I are going to Serenity too. We bought our tickets a few weeks ago (only found out about the conv last month) but they haven't arrived yet :(
We both have ME and can't get out very much so it makes this extra specially shiny. It's also our first convention so not wholly sure what to expect, although we have been told about Starfury conventions by a very experienced con goer.
Anyway say hello if you see us there (we shouldn't be too hard to pick out -two young people, one in a wheelchair the other pushing)

im sure everyone will be amazingly friendly to everyone at Serenity as we are all so lucky and excited to be there! i will happily chat to anyone.
i saw a pretty brown cowboy hat in New Look the other day so will get that but apart from wearing brown i dont know what else to wear.

Oh my, we aren`t going to be showing off any tattoos are you like the captain in `Trash` - although I don`t think he was wearing anything especially not a cowboy hat
I`ve got a cowboy hat & a bowler (if anybody has a small head and wants to play at being badger
have to let me know before the con though!)sorry just had to say those comments out loud
I`m sure you`ll think of something - Sundaynights theme party is going to be an easy one for some.
