And that the infamous 'Covington' story was all based on a few seconds of a clip misinterpreting expressions, right? And that there are distinct cultural differences in expression interpretation, right?

I know your brain gets stuck on certain things and just can't seem to let them go, like noalf, Russian trolls™, and now COVID-19. But unless you actively had COVID-19 in the 4 weeks prior to your kitty dying, your kitty probably died of something else.
I mention this because if you have other kitties, you might want to home in on what actually caused the first kitty's death in order to keep any other kitties safer. Are they vaccinated at all? Because things like distemper are catchy.

FREZ wuz in hiz mid teenz, so youre rite, it coud possibly be sumthing else that did him in. Altho he had symtomz to indicate possible C19 for at least several weeks, the list uv symtomz for humanz iznt clear and probably not even being worked on for cats.
For all we know, cats coud be carrierz. They coud liv with it indefinitely with sum level uv debilitation ranjing from nothing to severe. It coud be like many dezeezez that hang around for yirz, then finally kill them.
