I've watched or read the transcript of every Trump speech since late 2016. I've cataloged thousands and thousands of his false claims. I have never seen him lie more thoroughly and more egregiously than he did on Thursday evening at the White House.
Trump emerged in the press briefing room and took a blowtorch to the presidential tradition of defending the legitimacy of the democratic process.

Yeah. Except there wasn't a mandate. Trump got enough votes to win the popular vote in any previous election in history.
The house Dems have lost 11 seats so far.
The GOP gained a governorship.
The chances of Dems even having a tie in the Senate are infinitely small.
And don't underestimate the implications of what's to come since the Democrats were absolutely destroyed in state legislative races across the nation.
Compare that to Barack Obama's 2008 election win that saw him with a clear mandate with a new majority in both the house and the senate. Dems picked up 21 house seats, 8 senate seats and 1 gubernatorial seat while also taking control of 6 statewide legislatures compared to the GOP's 4 in 2008.
Joe Biden doesn't have a mandate. Not even close.
Over 5 Million of the 7.8 Million popular votes that Biden had over Trump were from California.
Even if Biden was genuine about a single "I'm not Trump" campaign promise he made, he's the definition of a lame duck presidency.
The only thing that he WILL get accomplished is re-installing the war-machine to the cabinet, and quite possibly throwing the American worker back under the Multi-National bus that Trump dragged us out from under.
