B) There is no law stating that a presidential candidate needs to show his tax returns.

The IRS had all the same information as Congress subpoenaed, but the IRS completely missed 8 simple and obvious ways Nixon cheated. Paying what he owed for only 4 years of cheating while in the White House almost wiped out Nixon's entire fortune. You know, every time you post about taxes, I can't help think about the Pharisee in the bible. Or that parable about seeing the mote in your brother's eye and not the log in your own. (I guess that log must really interfere with your vision!)
Besides, I agree with SIX: The IRS has his tax returns and I'll bet there's nothing unusual in there. ALL of the billionaires pay less taxes than I do! YOU probably pay less taxes than I do! It's the way the tax rules are written. If you really want to gripe MEANINGFULLY about taxes instead of just virtue-signalling all day long, then why not advocate putting corporations and people on an equal footing? (But, that would mean you'd have to pay about 1000X more in taxes than you already do!)

That's the whole point of this Trump Tax thing, and Second either knows it, or he's a fucking moron.
If his taxes were released, out of the entire mountain of paperwork that they entail compared to the 10 or so pages a guy like me files to state and federal every year, the media is going to take about 5 of those highly selectively edited pages and "dumb it down" in the way that most enrages the idiots who don't know how things work.
Trump didn't "cheat". He paid a ridiculous amount to a team of tax attorneys to pay the absolute minimum possible, which I'm sure entailed a lot of depreciation of assets and all sorts of other things that make it look like he doesn't actually make much money, when that's obviously not the truth. Except for putting his John Hancock on the forms where needed, he probably didn't look at a single page of his taxes in the last 40 years.
The IRS knows what's in there. He'd have been in prison years ago, along with all of his legal team being disbarred and joining him if they cheated the actual tax code as written.
Second just wants it released to the public so the people at Vox and Mother Jones along with Rachel Maddow can lie about them.
They could literally take any rich person's taxes and make the same points about them, but that's the exact opposite of what they want to do. Their corporate Masters would frown heavily upon letting everybody know just how fucked the tax code is for rich people. It has to be specifically about Trump or it's not going to see the light of day.
