Yeah well. Someone brought in a slight case of bedbugs over the last week. On Saturday I had to be very careful how I did my laundry. The manager did bring in the pest guy and had it sprayed. Hope he got them all but I didn't see anything.

We had a great time. He was here for a few weeks. I didn't really put him to work at all, but he did stand outside doing nothing for about 90 minutes in between holding the ladder for me when I finally patched up and re-shingled the roof that the squirrel ate through (I did manage to find a perfect match for the shingles, which I never thought I was going to be able to do). It took a lot longer than I thought it would and bought him a pizza afterward to say thanks.
Depending on how long this whole thing goes on he might be coming back. Offer's always on the table. Going to have to get the windows finished and get the A/C in and see how well it works first though. He doesn't do well in heat, and it's a good thing he left before the current 80 and 90 degree weather set in.
It was a nice break for me. I mean, I worked a lot and got a lot done, but we never watched the news or paid any mind to it on the internet. 2 whole weeks away from everything was really nice.

Problem here is it's that hot after getting insane amounts of rain, so the humidity is through the roof like it's been all spring/summer long for the last 6 years straight now. :(

I really need to fix this house up and sell it so I can get into a tiny manageable one with a small yard so I can immerse myself in my hobbies and just tune out all of the crap like I used to.
Too much News makes Jack a dull boy.
Enjoy Warehouse 13 if this is the first time you've seen it. I was surprised at how good that show got and I was glad I stuck with it.
