Quote:So what that you work at a job that pays a small fraction of what you are worth. I can't know why that happened or why you voted for Trump, despite his long history of being a tax cheater, cheating on his wives, cheating his contractors, and all around liar and crook. Must have been because, if you were Signym, you were convinced Hillary would have nuked Russia by now and Russia would have nuked America back.

Quote:The same personality traits and blindness to reality that made my four next door neighbors some of Trump's biggest defenders, despite his blunders, are the traits/blindness/unrestrained personalities that ended in their tragedies: negligent homicide, murder-or-suicide-only-god-knows-which, son suing his father, theft of a sum over $20,000 (the charge on the internet didn't say how much), being held for months in the Harris County jail because none of the relatives will bail you out, foolish feuds with other Republican neighbors that end with a fatal stroke. These are upper middle class people I got to watch as their entire soap opera played out. The Father told me all the details and he liked to explain why he still though Trump was doing a good-enough job. Now he is dead. I could see it coming; he couldn't see the obvious about his family or his Trump. And there are 100 million more out there that can't see what is wrong with Trump, either.

John Connor of Terminator fame travels back in time to warn Trump. And so, a brave and noble man fights a lonely battle . . . I would have shown Larry this comic to reaffirm his belief in Trump's mission to save America, but Larry is dead and the mission was a fake in order to be elected.

This is just as plausible as any of the other conspiracy theories I've heard in the RWED the last few years.

The Republican-controlled Senate did not allow their committee counsel to question Attorney General William Barr, but they can’t stop the next best thing: having former prosecutor Kamala Harris question him.
Kamala: “Has the president asked you to open an investigation of anyone?”
Barr: [awkward silence]
Kamala: “Yes or no?”
He can’t figure out how to answer.

We all know the answer. Barr just can’t figure out a way to deny it in a way that doesn’t constitute perjury.

Barr fumbles, stumbles, dissembles, asks for the question to be repeated and then can't answer when Kamala Harris asks him if Trump tor anyone else in the administration has ever asked him to open an investigation of someone.
tor?
Garbage tier.
Somebody get these under educated liberals a spell checker.

I walked into a convenience store just as Senator Harris was about to grill Barr. I asked the lady behind the counter if she could turn the volume up, she did, and about 5 or 6 nearby gathered around to watch.
Oh Boy! I could see that Kamala had her game face on. Shit's about to get real up in here!!!
I could see, as she dropped the "line" into the water, her first words barely out of her mouth and Barr sweating profusely, he started for the "bait."
Harris: "Did the WH ever...etc."
Barr: "Uuuuh, I wouldn't, I wouldn't..."
Harris: (Cold steely eyes) "Yes or no."
Barr: (staring up into the ceiling looking for answers) "Could you repeat the question" (obviously stalling for time).
In my mind I could hear the "Final Jeopardy" theme music playing.
Harris repeats the question about the WH/president suggesting/asking him to investigate anyone.
Barr: Uuuuh, president or anybody else (again, obviously stalling for time to think of an answer that won't have him commit perjury. It's obvious he was
asked. You could tell in his demeanor, still looking up into the ceiling for
an answer.
Harris: "Seems you would remember something like that and be able to tell us."
(putting on the pressure as the crickets chirp away)
Barr: "Yes, but I'm grappling with the word suggest, er, I mean..."
The look on her and Booker's face is PRICELESS.
Barr: "There have been discussions of matters out there (waving his hands as if the answer is out there in the air), they have not asked me to open an investigation."
It reminded me of Dean Wormer of Faber College about to lower the boom on
Animal House. Of course, Barr = Wormer, and he's trying hard not to give away
the secret that Trump asked him to investigate someone. Obviously he wants to
keep this all hush-hush.
Double secret probation....lol
Harris: "Suggested?"
Barr: "I don't know"
Harris: "Hinted?"
Barr: "I don't know"
Harris: "Inferred?"
Barr: "I don't know"
Absolutely Priceless!!!
SGG

I'd imagine it looked quite a bit like Hot Rod being grilled over his initial signing of a FISA warrant he didn't bother reading.
Quote:
Rep. Gohmert: When you approve a FISA application, in your mind, does that mean you should read it and understand what’s part of it?
Rosenstein: “You should certainly understand what’s part of it, sir.”
Rep. Gohmert: “But, you’re parsing words. So, that doesn’t mean you need to read it, in your opinion – is that correct?”
Rosenstein: “It depends on the circumstances.”
Rep. Gohmert: “Well, telling you, being a former felony state judge, if I had somebody like you come before me and now it was revealed later that the guy that signed and approved an application for a warrant had not even read the application that would allow spying on somebody, I would look at everything he signed from then on with a jaundiced eye. And, I’m telling you, I was a little concerned.”
