Not true. They are told .... which is probably true ... that Customs and Immigration can handle so many people per day, and people ARE being processed.
The assistance - while they wait at the border- should come from MEXICO. And if MEXICO doesn't want to provide them with temporary shelter, maybe they should have turned them back at their southern border. But Mexico apparently refuses to take any responsibility, because it prefers to encourage illegal emigration to the USA.
Illegal emigration serves the corrupt leadership of nations south of our border, by providing a "safety valve" for people who might otherwise get up on their hind legs and vote the bastards out of office. Their corrupt leaders win, and OUR corrupt leaders win! It's a win-win deal made in hell!
