Whether or not you like Trump or approve of him - do support the spook agencies deposing our legitimately elected president? What's been done to Trump is straight out of the CIA playbook. There is plan a, plan b, and so on, for getting rid of sitting leaders. First you try to bribe them. Then you threaten them. Then you smear them in the media. Next is assassination, junta, and finally, the military.
Thanks to a series of evidence-free 'leaks', and abetted non-stop by a complicit media, Trump barely made it into the third step.

Mueller should have that lawyer swear an oath that the lawyer wrote the tweet, not Trump, so that the lawyer would go to jail for lying to the FBI when it was proven that Trump, not the lawyer, actually wrote it. But that won't happen because your lawyer cannot be compelled to testify against you. Trump really owes his smart lawyer, John Dowd, an eternal debt for jumping into the fire and saving dumb-ass Trump from burning.

I think it is safe to say that very few Republicans believe it is illegal for Trump to fire the FBI director to protect Flynn from being investigated. Only if Obama had done the firing would it have been illegal.

Trump has essentially confessed three times to his corrupt intent in firing Comey: on May 10 in the Oval Office, on May 11 to NBC's Lester Holt, and then in his tweet on Saturday (awareness that Flynn had committed a crime).
Very few Republican voters will understand what is wrong with "obstructing justice" in either the legal sense or the commonsense definitions, therefore there will be no consequences whatsoever for Trump. The Democrat Senators are not numerous enough to make consequences.
