Right JO. They lie, deflect and manipulate the truth by distorting it. Add to that any facts they dislike they claim to be false or in many cases non existent. Both have as Putin and Trump wishes, labeled all legitimate news outlets as fake news in their attempts to do this.

Five people on the chart talked to the Russian Ambassador.
OMG!!! Stop the presses!!!
Son, do you have any idea HOW MANY people talked to the Russian Ambassador? Why, I'll bet you'll find Obama's and Hillary's names on that list too!

Five people talked to "Russian affiliated interests". But sometimes those interests (oligarchs) are not only NOT LINKED to the Kremlin, they're working in opposition to it. Secondly, you will find many other names on that list of politicians and political operatives who contacted "Russian affiliated interests" including Podesta and Clinton through activities with Fusion GPS and uranium.

"Russian business interests" = American businesses in Russia. Here is a list of American businesses in Russia:

Trump is at least as corrupt in business as the Clintons, though probably not as much of a perv as Bill.

But this elusive claim that he was in cahoots with Russia - Putin specifically - to rig the election seems to have evaporated from your mind. Do you have ANY evidence for that? Do you even remember that whole claim you were raving about just a few weeks ago, anymore? Or is your brain completely steered by the media at this point, with no memory, no thought, no direction, except the latest propaganda put in front of you?

As soon as Junior is on the witness stand, he will reverse himself and claim he misspoke or was incorrect or something. Like Father, like Son. It will be impossible to convict on Obstruction of Justice charges without more than a Trump's word.

Comey was fired May 9th to stop the FBI’s Russia investigation. That’s true if you believe the words from Trump’s mouth on May 11. But he was not under oath when he spoke.

Under oath or not, if Trump had not talked on TV, Mueller would not have been hired May 17th to look at Trump obstructing justice by firing Comey.

Because Trump will change his explanation for firing Comey when he is under oath to tell the Truth, Trump’s May 11th words aren’t enough to convict him. Then how does the Justice Department prove Obstruction? It must prove that there was a real connection between Trump’s campaign and Russia. Trump’s May 11th words on TV were only enough to motivate the Attorney General to begin looking for more proof than Trump’s words, words that he will disavow when he is impeached.

There are whole bunch of Trump campaign people that are talking to Mueller. Trump, 1kiki, and Signym insisting that there is no evidence doesn’t change a word said to Mueller.

I didn't "just happen[ed] to have this handy", I went to startpage.com (an anonymizer for google) and did a search on "american businesses in russia" and it was the second site that popped up. It is for the Association of Accredited Public Policy Advocates to the European Union which is a Belgian (i.e EU) NGO open only to senior managers of business firms. http://www.aalep.eu/american-companies-operating-russia

Your problem, GSTRING, isn't that you don't know how to use the internet, your problem is that you don't ask the right questions.

Are the connections/ activity correctly described?
Do/ have other politicians do/done the same thing?
It this unusual or significant activity, or is it incidental or insignificant?
Is there anything inherently inimical to USA interests?

Why is the "news item" appearing NOW, when it is not connected to a recent event?
Who benefits?
What are we NOT being told?

Just because I recognize the flaws in our "establishment" foreign and economic policies (Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, Hillary) and the biases of our MSM doesn't make me a "Trump supporter". I also realize that Trump's policies and personality are flawed, and would be happy to discuss them if only you'd get off this entirely synthetic "issue" and talk about something real. Yanno, like what our interests are and what our goals and policies SHOULD be. Instead, you've been completely distracted by this "red herring" (so to speak).

So JO, no context for the so-called "evidence" that KRAPO posted?

No even-handed comparison of the connections between Obama, the DNC, Hillary, and Bush to "Russia"?

No comparison of the connections between Obama, Hillary and Bush with certain elements of the (terrorist-supporting) Saudi Royal family?

Because, yanno, I think it would be EXTREMELY instructive if you could create exactly the same kind of chart. One of the first elements that you might include is something like this ...

And I thought you said you were a smart guy.

GSTRING: Whatever.

KRAPO's post of "evidence"? What did it show? That people talk to the Russian Ambassador? That there are American businesses operating in Russia? That political operatives like Manafort worked for unsavory oligarchs, as did Fusion GPS?

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

It seems that politics and business are both dirty, and there's a lot of dirt to dig. Why don't we focus on IMPORTANT things, like what our interests are and what our goals should be. That way, we won't get sidetracked by trivia.

As far as Trump Jr, please refresh my memory. I don't recall what he said, so you'll have to repeat whatever you think is relevant. But whatever it was he "wanted" to do, apparently it was a dry well. Not sure that anyone can be convicted on their "motivation", only on their actions. But feel free to make your point.

Here is a senator trying to force Sessions to appoint a special counsel to investigate the Uranium deal and the dossier. Listen to what Sessions says after he has had enough. He confirms though what he says that without evidence of a wrong doing you can't have an investigation.

So what counts as "evidence of wrongdoing"?

******

Here are a few things to consider:

Some people talked to the Russian Ambassador. Is there something essentially wrong with talking to the Russian Ambassador, or ANY ambassador? If not wrongdoing on its face, at what point might it become wrongdoing?

Businesses have operations in Russia. Is there something wrong with American businesses making money in Russia? Does this fact threaten our interests? At what point might (a) business(es) operating in Russia become wrongdoing?

Political consultants of all stripes have offered their consulting services to eastern European/ Russian oligarchs who may be pro-Russia or anti-Russia or neutral. These consultants also work for American politicians, both Republican and Democrat. Is this wrongdoing? If not, at what point might it become wrongdoing? And why?

Quote:

So what counts as "evidence of wrongdoing"?- SIGNY

Mueller is uncovering more every day. - THUGR

So in other words: "Nothing yet" and KRAPO's post is bullshit?

******

It seems to me that we get to this point over and over ... and over and over again ... When challenged for actual evidence of "collusion with Russia", what winds up getting posted is ... Not yet! But just you wait! Mueller is developing some!

There has been a countervailing message on alt media BTW, one which goes: The "dossier" was used to initiate surveillance of Trump and his campaign; and he and his people have been surveilled for quite some time by the NSA. During the initial transition period, when the deep state was anonymously leaking everything they could think of ... including the unmasked "dossier" ... if there had been anything substantive, it would have come out then.

In any case, I'm waiting. Been waiting for a while. At some point, the wait will be over and THEN you can talk about evidence. But those thousand+ posts, all of that hysteria about Russia "hacking" our elections (as if!) and Trump "colluding" with Russia ... so much empty noise?

We'd have evidence if lawyers would stop filing all evidence under a confidential seal, leaving GOP Congressmen perfectly free to manufacture their own fake "evidence" exonerating Trump.

All three attorneys representing Rick Gates, a former associate of President Donald Trump, abruptly dumped him Thursday, putting a mysterious spin on the investigation into Russian election meddling.

Gates and his business associate Paul Manafort were the first two people to be indicted in special prosecutor Robert Mueller’s probe into possible collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia.

On Thursday afternoon, Gates’ three lawyers — Shanlon Wu, Walter Mack and Annemarie McAvoy — informed U.S. District Judge Amy Berman that they’re no longer representing him, effective “immediately.”

The lawyers’ brief filing noted that they wished to withdraw “for reasons set forth in Exhibit 1” — which they noted had been filed under a confidential seal.

Gates, who worked on the Trump campaign, and Manafort, who served as the campaign’s manager, were slammed with a laundry list of federal charges in October.

What I heard on NPR was the concept that maybe Mueller's investigation won't uncover anything "illegal" on Trump's part, but that Trump's behavior might represent a "political" problem.

Well. Mueller was handed a bag of shit to investigate. He's doing the best he can to make the rumors/ allegations into something significant, but in reality there's no "there" there, so he's poking his nose into anything he can find. If the worst he can find is Trump being "politically incorrect" ... well, that's not an indictable offense. Demonstrating "collusion" or anything like it is an impossibility. Probably same with "obstruction of justice".

What the NPR reporting sounds like to me is back-peddling/ goalpost moving/ reduction in expectations.

With the release of The Nunes Memo, we see this entire pretense of a justified "investigation" is a complete sham.

The collapse of any justification for the Page FISA Warrant renders it as fruit of the poisoned tree. And all that came from that. AKA the whole "investigation" into Fake Stories clamoring about collusion. Even the casual watcher of TV crime/court/cop shows can follow that.

Small wonder they have not found any evidence, despite gobs of money and man-hours spent chasing their phantom delusions.

How long before Mueller performs Justice and ends the charade?

And then Trump can pardon those who were caught up.

Try reading the book "Three Felonies a Day" by Harvey Silverglate, from 2009.
Read it and get back to us with the answer. As I recall, Harvey gives entertaining interviews.

I believe that "decriminalize the common man" is the call.

I don't know from Alex Jones, and am not sure if Rush covered it. But since Rush is the purveyor of facts and truth, I wouldn't be surprised if he did cover it, like 8 or 9 years ago. At that time I was in a radio market devoid of such illumination, so would not have heard him.

The FBI also needs to be investigated for its biased FISA warrant affidavit.

There should be at least one Special Prosecutor if not two, handling these investigations.

JewelStaiteFan, you jumped to a weird ass conclusion based only on the title of the book.

Page 255-256 The statutes enacted by the Congress were not sufficiently all-encompassing and onerous for the taste of federal prosecutors. So they have proceeded to do precisely what former Attorney General Robert Jackson, in 1940, warned his U.S. attorneys against: “pick people that he thinks he should get” and “then search the law books…to pin some offense on him.

The book is simply pointing to prosecutors that needed their dumb asses fired, exactly the same as cops who stop cars based on a hunch, kill the driver, then drop a throw-down gun to make the innocent look guilty. The book "Three Felonies a Day" is NOT ABOUT EVERYBODY committing 3 hypothetical felonies a day.

https://theintercept.com/2018/02/09/donald-trump-russia-election-nsa/

The CIA’s wariness shows that the reality within the U.S. intelligence community is a far cry from the right-wing conspiracy theory that a “deep state” is working against Trump. Instead, the agency’s behavior seems to indicate that U.S. intelligence officials are torn about whether to conduct any operations at all that might aid Mueller’s ongoing investigation into whether Trump or his aides colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election.

Many intelligence officials are reluctant to get involved with anything related to the Trump-Russia case for fear of blowback from Trump himself, who might seek revenge by firing senior officials and wreaking havoc on their agencies. For example, Dan Coats, the director of national intelligence and thus the man supposedly in charge of the entire U.S. intelligence community, has said he does not see it as his role to push for an aggressive Trump-Russia investigation, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Because of the CIA’s reluctance to take an aggressive role, officials at the NSA have taken the lead on the communications channel, with a primary focus on recovering their own stolen documents. They have viewed the Trump-related material as an annoying sidelight, even as they understand that it is potentially the most explosive material to have come through the channel.

The channel has been operating in the shadows even as Mueller’s investigation has been basking in the spotlight. Last year, three former Trump campaign officials faced charges as part of Mueller’s investigation, and the special counsel continues to investigate both possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia and evidence of efforts by Trump or others close to him to obstruct justice in the Mueller probe.

Over the past year, those involved with the secret communications channel have experienced a series of dramatic highs and lows. Until recently, it wasn’t clear whether the conversations would produce any materials about Trump or lead to the recovery of any NSA documents.

It took months of meetings and negotiations between American and Russian intermediaries to try to determine what documents might be available from the Russians – and at what price. Inconsistent interest in the channel by U.S. intelligence officials, particularly at the CIA, complicated the negotiations.

"There is already, in my view, ample evidence in the public domain on the issue of collusion if you're willing to see it," Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif, told reporters at a newsmaker breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor. "If you want to blind yourself, then you can look the other way." Schiff said there is evidence — heard by the committee behind closed doors —that he can't talk about publicly because it remains classified.

While it is up to Mueller to conduct the criminal investigation and file any charges he feels are warranted, it is up to the House panel "to tell the country as much as we can about what we have been able to learn," Schiff said.

Even if Mueller determines that he can't file criminal charges of conspiracy, the committee should inform people of any "unpatriotic" or "immoral" actions, even if they weren't illegal, Schiff said.

"It's not fine to work with a foreign power even if there is no violation of law involved," he said.

Evidence of collusion that has been reported publicly, including:

— Former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about talking in April 2016 to a professor with close ties to the Kremlin who told Papadopoulos that Moscow had "dirt" on Hillary Clinton. The professor told him about thousands of emails the Russians had from the Clinton campaign.

— Donald Trump Jr., Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner, and former campaign chairman Paul Manafort met with a Russian attorney at Trump Tower in June 2016 after being promised "dirt" on Clinton. The campaign later communicated to meeting organizers that they were disappointed they didn't get what they were promised.

— In July 2017, the president and White House advisers put together a misleading statement about the nature of the Trump Tower meeting, saying that it was for the purpose of discussing Russian adoptions.

— The Trump campaign knew through Papadopoulos that the Russians had obtained thousands of emails from the Clinton campaign. Then-candidate Trump publicly asked the Russians in July 2016 to hack Clinton and find her "30,000 emails that are missing" from the personal email server she used while secretary of State. WikiLeaks began posting emails from the Clinton campaign in October, just weeks before the November election.

— Former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn held secret conversations with Russian officials in December 2016 during the presidential transition period, promising to undermine sanctions imposed against Russia by the Obama administration for meddling in the U.S. election. Flynn pleaded guilty late last year to lying to the FBI about those conversations.

"All of this is evidence of collusion," said Schiff, a former federal prosecutor. "Now, I've never said that there was proof beyond a reasonable doubt. That's for Bob Mueller to decide. But to say there's no evidence of collusion, you'd have to ignore all this."

"If this were a trial on the issue of did the Trump campaign conspire with the Russians to interfere or violate U.S. election laws by providing help to the Trump campaign, if this were a trial on that conspiracy charge...all of that evidence would come in as evidence of collusion," Schiff said.

When is it "collusion" versus a "change in policy towards Russia" that people have voted for?

Trump made no secret of his desire to reach better relations with Russia; in fact, it was part of his campaign platform.

So, was it a secret?

Not so much.

Also, there has to be a "quid pro quo". I can't find any direct benefit that Trump would have gotten out of this.

So once again, a whole lotta nothing from "ole crazy eyes" Schiff.

Quote:

Is John Brennan the Mastermind Behind Russiagate?
The report (“The Dossier”) that claims that Donald Trump colluded with Russia, was paid for by the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign.

The company that claims that Russia hacked DNC computer servers, was paid by the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign.

The FBI’s counterintelligence probe into Trump’s alleged connections to Russia was launched on the basis of information gathered from a report that was paid for by the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign.

The surveillance of a Trump campaign member (Carter Page) was approved by a FISA court on the basis of information from a report that was paid for by the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign.

The Intelligence Community Analysis or ICA was (largely or partially) based on information from a report that was paid for by the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign. (more on this below)

The information that was leaked to the media alleging Russia hacking or collusion can be traced back to claims that were made in a report that was paid for by the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign.

The entire Russia-gate investigation rests on the “unverified and salacious” information from a dossier that was paid for by the DNC and Hillary Clinton Campaign. Here’s how Stephen Cohen sums it up in a recent article at The Nation:

“Steele’s dossier… was the foundational document of the Russiagate narrative…from the time its installments began to be leaked to the American media in the summer of 2016, to the US “Intelligence Community Assessment” of January 2017….the dossier and subsequent ICA report remain the underlying sources for proponents of the Russiagate narrative of “Trump-Putin collision.” (“Russia gate or Intel-gate?”, The Nation)

There’s just one problem with Cohen’s statement, we don’t really know the extent to which the dossier was used in the creation of the Intelligence Community Assessment. (The ICA was the IC’s flagship analysis that was supposed to provide ironclad proof of Russian meddling in the 2016 elections.) According to some reports, the contribution was significant. Check out this excerpt from an article at Business Insider:

“Intelligence officials purposefully omitted the dossier from the public intelligence report they released in January about Russia’s election interference because they didn’t want to reveal which details they had corroborated, according to CNN.” (“Mueller reportedly interviewed the author of the Trump-Russia dossier — here’s what it alleges, and how it aligned with reality”, Business Insider)

Bottom line: Despite the denials of former-CIA Director John Brennan, the dossier may have been used in the ICA.

In the last two weeks, documents have been released that have exposed the weak underpinnings of the Russia investigation while at the same time revealing serious abuses by senior-level officials at the DOJ and FBI. The so called Nunes memo was the first to point out these abuses, but it was the 8-page “criminal referral” authored by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Senator Lindsey Graham that gave credence to the claims. Here’s a blurb from the document:

“It appears the FBI relied on admittedly uncorroborated information, funded by and obtained for Secretary Clinton’s presidential campaign, in order to conduct surveillance of an associate of the opposing presidential candidate. It did so based on Mr. Steele’s personal credibility and presumably having faith in his process of obtaining the information. But there is substantial evidence suggesting that Mr. Steele m

This is why you're to stupid and dishonest to engage in conversation on the Trump, Russia investagation. It's conspiracy dummy not collusion that is a crime. Something you've been told countless times now.

Conspiracy is what is being investigated. Only trolls are insisting on posting about this as though collusion is what Trump is being investigated for.

Conspiracy or collusion. Conspiracy describes two or more people secretly plotting an action, usually but not limited to a harmful or illegal action. Conspiring with the Russians for personal gain, in Trumps case to win an election and in return effect our Russia policy, would be illegal.

So, you've been told again. If you are to dense to comprehend the distinction between collusion and conspiracy, then you certainly can't opine on the topic of a Trump, Russia investigation. You don't have the cognitive ability to do so and make any sense. Which explains the bullshit you post. Comrade troll...

U.S. Secretly Negotiated With Russians to Buy Stolen NSA Documents — and the Russians Offered Trump-Related Material, Too for Mueller to mull over.

February 9 2018, 3:32 p.m.
https://theintercept.com/2018/02/09/donald-trump-russia-election-nsa/

The United States intelligence community has been conducting a top-secret operation to recover stolen classified U.S. government documents from Russian operatives, according to sources familiar with the matter. The operation has also inadvertently yielded a cache of documents purporting to relate to Donald Trump and Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Over the past year, American intelligence officials have opened a secret communications channel with the Russian operatives, who have been seeking to sell both Trump-related materials and documents stolen from the National Security Agency and obtained by Russian intelligence, according to people involved with the matter and other documentary evidence. The channel started developing in early 2017, when American and Russian intermediaries began meeting in Germany. Eventually, a Russian intermediary, apparently representing some elements of the Russian intelligence community, agreed to a deal to sell stolen NSA documents back to the U.S. while also seeking to include Trump-related materials in the package.

The CIA declined to comment on the operation. The NSA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The secret negotiations began after Trump’s election and have been conducted by U.S. intelligence officials working with intermediaries who mainly operate in Europe. When American intelligence officials initiated efforts to broker a communications channel in 2017, however, their primary objective was to recover stolen NSA documents, not to obtain material about Trump.

At the time, the NSA was desperate to recover documents that intelligence officials believed Russia had obtained through a mysterious group known as the Shadow Brokers. The group stole highly secret NSA hacking tools and began releasing them on the internet in the summer of 2016. The Shadow Brokers theft of the hacking tools devastated morale at the NSA, putting its custom-built offensive cyber weapons out in the open. It was as if a bioweapons laboratory had lost some of its most deadly and dangerous viruses. U.S. officials wanted to identify which NSA documents the Shadow Brokers had stolen, so they could determine how badly the agency had been damaged by the theft.

But once the communications channel opened, the Russians on the other side offered to sell documents related to Trump along with the stolen NSA documents.

Since you disbelieve everything, you will be surprised when Trump self-destructs as did Richard Nixon. You never imagined Nixon was guilty until he announced it, did you? And Trump's downfall will be an unexpected shock for you.

Trump’s closest Mideast ally could be headed to prison. There can be similar trouble for Trump, who openly does, through the Trump businesses, what Netanyahu tried to keep secret from Israeli police.

Israeli police recommended indicting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for corruption. He faces formal criminal charges in two separate investigations.

Every Israeli prime minister since Shimon Peres, who served in the mid-1990s, has faced criminal investigations while in office. Only one has been convicted: former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who served a 19-month sentence in the same prison where Israeli President Moshe Katsav spent five years following a rape conviction.

Here is a parable to make Nixon's resignation speech easy to understand: A guy named "Nixon" wrote a suicide note. "Nixon" said that he was innocent, but he would kill himself for the good of the country rather than stand before a jury at a trial that, he claims, would prove his innocence. Then "Nixon" blows his brains out. All the words in "Nixon"'s suicide note were without meaning. In short, the suicide note is all pleasant lies and false justifications. The only truth is that "Nixon" declared himself guilty with a bullet in the head. Change the word "Nixon" to Nixon without the quotes. Change the words blows his brains out to the words resigned the Presidency. Then it is no longer a parable of suicide but is what Nixon actually did.

Still, he did relinquish his presidency. What a shame he did so only because he was a coward and couldn't stand the criticism.

Incorrect, JewelStaiteFan, you stupid fucker. Nixon quite elegantly declared himself guilty with his resignation, the moment when he boarded Marine One and waved goodbye forever. The speech the night before his helicopter ride was simply the misdirection used by a great magician to confuse the audience. Nixon's assistant in this magic act, Gerald Ford, would finish the trick by pardoning Nixon. See how clever the two are? Convincing the audience that a upstanding and innocent man left Washington D.C. for the good of the country, not because Nixon was covered from head to toe with guilty shit.

I see no paywall, JewelStaiteFan. Since you're too stupid to click a link, I will post it. And then I expect the standard Republican responses from you will be to deny it happened or minimize it as nothing or to not even understand it:

George Will Confirms Nixon's Vietnam Treason

by Bob Fitrakis, Harvey Wasserman

Richard Nixon was a traitor.

The new release of extended versions of Nixon's papers now confirms this long-standing belief, usually dismissed as a "conspiracy theory" by Republican conservatives. Now it has been substantiated by none other than right-wing columnist George Will.

Nixon's newly revealed records show for certain that in 1968, as a presidential candidate, he ordered Anna Chennault, his liaison to the South Vietnam government, to persuade them to refuse a cease-fire being brokered by President Lyndon Johnson.

Nixon's interference with these negotiations violated President John Adams's 1797 Logan Act, banning private citizens from intruding into official government negotiations with a foreign nation.

Published as the 40th Anniversary of Nixon's resignation approaches, Will's column confirms that Nixon feared public disclosure of his role in sabotaging the 1968 Vietnam peace talks. Will says Nixon established a "plumbers unit" to stop potential leaks of information that might damage him, including documentation that he believed was held by the Brookings Institute, a liberal think tank. The Plumbers' later break-in at the Democratic National Committee led to the Watergate scandal that brought Nixon down.

Nixon's sabotage of the Vietnam peace talks was confirmed by transcripts of FBI wiretaps. On November 2, 1968, LBJ received an FBI report saying Chernnault told the South Vietnamese ambassador that "she had received a message from her boss: saying the Vietnamese should "hold on, we are gonna win."

As Will confirms, Vietnamese did "hold on," the war proceeded and Nixon did win, changing forever the face of American politics—with the shadow of treason permanently embedded in its DNA.

The treason came in 1968 as the Vietnam War reached a critical turning point. President Lyndon Johnson was desperate for a truce between North and South Vietnam.

LBJ had an ulterior motive: his Vice President, Hubert Humphrey, was in a tight presidential race against Richard Nixon. With demonstrators in the streets, Humphrey desperately needed a cease-fire to get him into the White House.

Johnson had it all but wrapped it. With a combination of gentle and iron-fisted persuasion, he forced the leaders of South Vietnam into an all-but-final agreement with the North. A cease-fire was imminent, and Humphrey’s election seemed assured.

But at the last minute, the South Vietnamese pulled out. LBJ suspected Nixon had intervened to stop them from signing a peace treaty.

In the Price of Power (1983), Seymour Hersh revealed Henry Kissinger—then Johnson’s adviser on Vietnam peace talks—secretly alerted Nixon’s staff that a truce was imminent.

According to Hersh, Nixon “was able to get a series of messages to the Thieu government [of South Vietnam] making it clear that a Nixon presidency would have different views on peace negotiations.”

Johnson was livid. He even called the Republican Sena

I think you placed your finger on why only 2-3 million are doing really well (20-30 million doing okay) in the US while the rest of Americans are fat, dumb and drunk. The losers think they are smart, but struggling in an unfair world which doesn't recognize their inherent worth. The losers smoke, drink, over-eat, borrow at high interest rates, incompetently perform their hated jobs, won't move to a better state, beat their children, etc., etc. and it doesn't matter how many public service messages the losers see, they never get the clue and they continue to fail and it is never their fault. It's those crooked politicians' fault, the same politicians that a majority of losers voted for. I believe you when you said you voted for Trump. How is that decision working out for you? It's great for me; maybe not so much for you. I didn't vote for Trump, by the way. Always the laughing Jackass, 6ixStringJack. Try to think about your fucked up decision on Trump: One year after Trump took office, it is still unclear whether the president of the United States is an agent of a foreign power. Just step back and think about that for a moment. Americans live with the uncertainty of not knowing whether the president has the best interests of the United States or those of the Russian Federation at heart.

Most pundits in Washington now recoil at any suggestion that the Trump-Russia story is really about treason. They all want to say it’s about something else – what, they aren’t quite sure. They are afraid to use serious words. They are in the business of breaking down the Trump-Russia narrative into a long series of bite-sized, incremental stories in which the gravity of the overall case often gets lost. They seem to think that treason is too much of a conversation-stopper, that it interrupts the flow of cable television and Twitter. God forbid you might upset the right wing! (And the left wing, for that matter.)

But if a presidential candidate or his lieutenants secretly work with a foreign government that is a longtime adversary of the United States to manipulate and then win a presidential election, that is almost a textbook definition of treason.

In Article 3, Section 3, the U.S. Constitution states that “treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”

Based on that provision in the Constitution, U.S. law – 18 U.S. Code § 2381 – states that “[w]hoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere” is guilty of treason. Those found guilty of this high crime “shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”

Mueller’s mandate was to investigate “any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.” Rosenstein noted that “if the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters.”

How closely aligned is Mueller’s mandate with the legal definition of treason? That boils down to the rhetorical differences between giving “aid and comfort, in the United States or elsewhere” to “enemies” of the United States and “any links and/or coordination” between the Russian government and Trump campaign aides related to “the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.”

There are four important tracks to follow in the Trump-Russia story.

First, we must determine whether there is credible evidence for the underlying premise that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Trump win.

Second, we must figure out whether Trump or people around him worked with the Russians to try to win the election.

Third, we must scrutinize the evidence to understand whether Trump and his associates have sought to obstruct justice by impeding a federal investigation into whether Trump and Russia colluded.

A fourth track concerns whether Republican leaders are now engaged in a criminal conspiracy to obstruct justice through their intense and ongoing efforts to discredit Mueller’s probe.

Maybe you're right about Trump. Too bad you brought up every stupid and meaningless little thing along the way for the last 400+ days to detract from what might actually be a huge problem. Nobody wants to listen to you or the news anymore. Only the 2-3 million CNN/MSNBC nightly viewers even give a shit. The other 300+ million people in America are more concerned with what movies are coming out this weekend.

Maybe pick your battles better next time, twerp.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

They have that many combined viewers?
I keep hearing that CNN, PMSNBC each have less than a million viewers.

I think you placed your finger on why only 2-3 million are doing really well (20-30 million doing okay) in the US while the rest of Americans are fat, dumb and drunk. The losers think they are smart, but struggling in an unfair world which doesn't recognize their inherent worth. Except there are a million clues available to make their lives ten time more worthy, but they remain clueless. There were thousands of clues that Trump would be no good for the job and 6ixStringJack ignored them all because it was too much information for him, calling the clues "stupid and meaningless little things".

I wonder if this explains why the trolls have invaded this thread, burying the discussion amid their nonsense, while abandoning their desolate thread where they finally realized that they were the only navel gazers chattering to themselves in their echo chamber.

I hear that the top 1% number less than 3 million and they kick your ass whenever they can, JewelStaiteFan. To anyone who has studied the history of the KGB, particularly during the Cold War, the attack on the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Party during the 2016 U.S. election looks like the contemporary cyber-descendant of countless analog KGB propaganda efforts. Back in the 1970s and 1980s, the KGB frequently engaged in ambitious disinformation campaigns that were designed to sow suspicion of the United States in the developing world. The KGB’s so-called “active measures” programs would use international front organizations, cutouts, and sometimes unwitting enablers in the press to disseminate their anti-American propaganda.

The most infamous and dangerously effective KGB disinformation campaign of the Cold War was known as Operation Infektion. It was a secret effort to convince people in developing countries that the United States had created the HIV/AIDS virus.

In 1983, a newspaper in India printed what purported to be a letter from an American scientist saying the virus had been developed by the Pentagon. The letter went on to suggest that the U.S. was moving its experiments to Pakistan, India’s archenemy. Meanwhile, the KGB got an East German scientist to spread misinformation supporting the Moscow-backed conspiracy theory that the U.S. was behind the virus.

You use a lot of letters to say "still no evidence of Trump Collusion" but you do have a steady supply of Red Herrings.
But you still could have posted that nonsense in your desolate thread where nobody looks, instead of trolling and polluting these threads where the adults were talking.

JewelStaiteFan, is an indictment a 'Red Herring'? I'm assuming you can click, but I'm not positive you are smart enough to read The Grand Jury for the District of Columbia indictment: http://fingfx.thomsonreuters.com/gfx/mkt/5/1605/1603/internet_research

Did JewelStaiteFan get that far in your reading? Or did you consign the document to your not evidence file?

As you know, I have another thread of "evidence" against naughty Debbie W, and some of the other goings-on in DC. I'll bet if we knew everything about everything there, we'd throw everybody out.

Indictment came today. All Russian names. Probably a coincidence that Signym can explain away as not evidence.
