Good thing he "resigned", it saves everyone the embarrassment of having to fire him.

Apparently the reason for his "resignation" was not that he talked to Russian contacts (whoever they were) but that he lied to Mike Pence about it. Left Mr. Pence twisting in the wind, as it were. You don't do that to your boss and expect to keep your job.

But this calls into question the whole idea of Trump being blackmailed by Russia. If American policy towards is already set in stone for nefarious reasons, it makes no sense for Flynn to go clumsily bumbling off to push a process that's already been decided. It just doesn't make sense ... at least, not to me.

Flynn was one of the weaker cabinet picks, DeVos is another.

In case you don't get the reference to COMET and pizza, Flynn's son was a big proponent of Pizzagate, the claim that Hillary and her pals ran a child sex-trafficking ring from the basement of the Comet Ping Pong pizza shop. This eventually led to a North Carolina man entering the shop and pointing a gun at an employee. He later started shooting, and after he was captured he told police he was "self investigating" the conspiracy theory.

Michael Flynn Sr. didn't traffic in Pizzagate, but he did pass along quite a few other weird conspiracy theories.

This is only the pulling of first string SIG. His top advisors are a joke and a danger to this country's well being. It only took three weeks. You guys loved to kill Hillary for not taking national security seriously. So now I want to hear you give Trump equal time. Besides the Flynn scandal, he had an open air security briefing at his key largo golf course. He was surrounded by the general public as he was being briefed on his cell phone about North Korea. Big mistake.

That's right Jack our democracy is under attack. Flynn tweeted he was a scapegoat. That means others in the room were aware of his indiscretions with Russia while they were conducting cyber attacks against America. Remember, Flynn was still sitting in on classified briefings, three weeks after intelligence informed Trump he was subject to blackmail and therefore a security risk.

We suffered through demand after demand to investgate Clintons indiscretions based on rumors. So, my question to you Jack is, do you want an oversight commission to investigate this?

Investigate away. But make no mistake that calls to look into Clinton was based on facts. Not rumors. No matter who hacked those emails, there are a lot of truths in there that you refuse to even become aware about.

I just have to laugh when I see that everything you lefties accuse Trump of now are the exact same things that Clinton was actually guilty of. It was just with other players.
