Not going to defend Bill Clinton but I am going to remind you he is not running against Trump, Hillary is. I happen to know a Syrian Xtian. He was QUITE CLEAR that in the view of Syrian minorities, the anti-Assad elements were going to install a hardline wahhabist theocracy. Is that what you want: Women put in cages on top of buildings to prevent an airstrike? Women put in cages and burned alive? Women taken in conquest and traded hand-to-hand? Women stoned to death in "honor killings"? Women denied citizenship, education, and independent decision-making authority? Is that your goal?

I don't criticize "America" and you have NEVER been able to find any post where I have.

I've criticized our constant wars of aggression: Are you FOR them?
I've criticized having tyrannical allies or even putting them in palce: Are you FOR tyrannies?
I've criticized our banking structure, where they get to make up money out of thin air that we have to sweat for: Are you FOR the banks?
I've criticized the non-transparent operation of our entire government, which hides what it does and lies to its citizens, the very antithesis of democracy: Are you FOR a government that looks like China's?
I've criticized our government's snooping and spying on anyone and everyone, the vast majority of the innocent as well as the guilty, a clear violation of our Constitutional rights: Are you FOR shredding the Constitution?

As far as "Russia's interests", you have not once been able to articulate what those are. As a matter of fact, you have never answered these questions, even though they've been asked over a dozen times:

Well, if I link a site, you reject that. If I refer to an actual person with first-hand knowledge, you reject that.

I'm going to describe my denouement about Syria. BTW, I have referred to this young man before, so this nothing new:

When the first protests started in Syria, I hesitatingly asked Malek (that was his name) I suppose that you're happy with the pro-democracy movement in Syria?" and he, literally, flinched and turned towards me with a look of shock and disappointment on his face, and then very patiently explained to me how all of the Syrian minorities looked on Assad as their protector because Assad, himself, was a minority (Alawite).

I heard the same thing in NPR just a few days ago; in interview a Syrian Xtian was explaining how all of the coverage is focused on the salafists, and every time they even reference the pro-government portions of the country the people are always dehumanized. As as an example, he referenced a destructive strike on ... I forget the name ... and said it was referred to as an "Assad stronghold" as if it were a military target when it was just civilians.

Not too surprisingly, I can't find a reference to that detailed interview, which was on KPCC in LA. But here is the same thing from another site:

Beshara says he is not an Assad supporter, although he supports the army and views the vast majority of rebels as "terrorists."

"My hope for Syria is that it can create a national unity government, and guarantee a constitution where everyone has equal rights and pure secularism," he says. "When it's secular, it won't be like Saudi Arabia, where a woman can't even drive for example, and where Christians are clearly second class citizens."
