In February, on an investor conference call, Fifer had predicted that “we’ll see a step up of demand if a Democrat wins” the presidency. And if Democrats win control of the Senate, he added, gun sales will increase dramatically based on fears that a more liberal Supreme Court might restrict gun rights.

Texas mom shoots her own daughters dead in the street before being gunned down by police.

Of course she was a Republican. It's Texas. She pretty much had to be. Hardcore gun nut, right-winger, Obama-hater, the whole shebang. And she killed her own daughters on her husband's birthday for no reason at all.

I'm sure this one will be labeled "mental illness" since she was white and conservative. My question is this:

If she's so goddam mentally ill that she's a danger to the lives of her own daughters, why the fuck would the GOP and the NRA want her to have more guns?

It's only meaningful when the shooter is Muslim. All the rest of 33,000 gun deaths every year are just business as usual.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

Let me just point out that the author left out vital relevant facts in the opinion piece. Doing that is known as cherry-picking. And whether you do that in the news, in discussion, in debate or in opinion, when you distort the facts, you've changed the nature of your communication into propaganda. But WE don't have any of THAT in the US, do we?!
