I find Bushwhacked is a hard one to recall all the good scenes and tidbits, largely because of the diametrically contrasting halves of the episode. First half, copied like mentioned above, second half the Alliance idiots and excerpts from the interviews - sex with a warrior woman, and then that part above the thigh, and jabbermouth Jayne.

Yep, I've kind of given up on SyFy a while back. They do nothing original and even the copies are putrid ripoffs. They know that they have a ready-made audience/devoted fans of Firefly, but they do not take the time to produce a quality show. The last quality show I watched on SyFy was Caprica, which was doomed to failure because it was a well produced and well written show (I have it on good authority that it is written into SyFy's contract that good solid shows are not within their purview).
Ripoffs are the norm today. The above-mentioned shows notwithstanding, we have another named Stitchers (we have ABC Family to thank for this latest fiasco, yes, ABC Family). It is a total ripoff of Fringe, and, like the others previously mentioned, poorly written, acted and produced - oh hell, let's throw in poorly directed as well. This is something I don't understand, regarding an ABC property, because they have all the money in the world (come on, Disney and Marvel) yet they come up with a poor excuse of a TV series. Their main motivation is that they want to capture the thousands, if not, millions of fans that loved Fringe.
Come on SyFy, have some respect for your audience, give us a quality show for a change, even if you have to ripoff a show like Firefly or Fringe.

On the topic of rip offs, I casually noticed, as I flip right by just long enough to see the title, SyFy's marathon of unbelievably awful B movies involving sharks, crocs, giant snakes , one or in some combination, and even in robotic form.
All in conjunction w/ the airing of Sharknado 3, of course.
Talk about not even trying.
