This manga image is inspired by ironcladotter's OUTSTANDING ink portrait. Cocky, relaxed, and ready for action all at once. The Japanese symbol on his sleeve means "sky," and the one on his helmet means "free." Can't you just picture him going, "You can't take the sky from me..."

If you're not Japanese. It's not manga. That and the aside from a bit of the eyes, no Japanese artist draws like that.

Blue - you're really good - I did a superdeformed Kaylee a little while ago but she's, frankly, a bit pants compared to yours!

OK, if we simply MUST split hairs: No, it ain't real manga. That's my primary influence and inspiration, though. I modeled my style after Humberto Ramos, of "Crimson" and "Impulse" fame. Anyway, thanks for the kind words, huitzil. I appreciate it.
