Wonderful! I loved it that their hosts think Mal and Inara are married and was amused that Inara didn't put them right. I think she is enjoying a relaxed Captain and it is time they had some quality time together - not to mention plenty of fresh home cooking. Ali D :~)

Simon was just chatting about his night with Kaylee and the dancing. Asked about Ip, he admitted that he didn't like Ip at first for capturing Kaylee's attention, but since then he doesn't really mind Ip so much.

Asked about River and Ip, Simon froze for a few seconds, and then announced his intention to neuter Ip with a unsterilized needle.

An evening of romance, star gazing and good times. Doesn’t seem like it happens often enough for our friends on Serenity, Nice episode eb. Seems like every one of the crew has somebody, well, except for Jayne. Wonder if he’s still got his rain-stick?

I like the idea you’ve shown here where each world has it’s own customs, and folk need to be mindful of them. Don’t want to be insulting the natives now do we?

Also got a big smile on my face when there was a question during the dinner festival if Jayne has washed? …..Had me laughing.

Ali: Inara is definitely enjoying being around Mal when he's not so uptight. I suspect that's why she didn't object to the villagers' assumption. ZM: Happy and relaxed doesn't happen too often for our crew. Nice to give 'em a break once in a while. Nutluck: Still lurking. Like I said, it might not be when and what you suspect. Bytemite: If Simon weren't so preoccupied, he might have noticed what was going on there with River. I suspect that when he does notice, he'll be angry, not only with Ip, but with himself for not noticing sooner. And by the way, the village elders would not allow anything improper. You can be sure that River and Ip and Zoe and Jayne were each shown to individual sleeping quarters. BPZ: Jayne's ideal evening might consist of a bottle and a willing woman, but he'll be reasonably happy with one or the other. I know he enjoyed singing along with the band. He might have even got out his guitar.
