Chapter 23: Deep
blank stare
disrepair
there's a big black hole
gonna eat me up someday
someday fades away
like a memory
or a place that you'd rather be

itch in my head, that's telling me somewhere

Scorpion checked the closet for the appropriate apparel to meet her supposed arch-enemy. She found a pair of boots that would suit her needs-comfortable and highly stylized.
She wouldn’t care whether the blood spattered on them or not.
Black again. Like her mood.
The door chimed and she took a seat on a nearby chair. She held a riding crop in her hands-she wanted Lady Yoshida to know that she was detected during her visit to Badger.
“Enter.” She said and Yoshida stepped forward.
“Well,” the widow started but then she saw the crop, she sniffled and Scorpion narrowed her eyes.
“About time,” Scorpion said. She took out a clove cigarette out of a container that was on the desk and lit it.
Lady Yoshida was pondering what to say next to her, so she just got to the point- “You killed my husband,”
“…So?” Scorpion retorted as she blew smoke.
“I loved him!” Lady Yoshida exclaimed.
“Don’t bullshit the bullshit artist, lady,” Scorpion retorted. “He’s dead and you inherited all his money. He hurt a lot of people-especially woman. I am guessing that he hurt you more then you want to let on. You want to live with the façade of this great man, but your husband was a murdering thieving good for nothing. It’s time to move on- take the money and live free.”
