Regarding all the many dangly plot threads – there are two more books to go. Book II has a whole big lot written, which I need to arrange and fill out a bit, and I have to put together the ending. So I’ll need a few weeks that will probably turn into a month or so. *sigh*
Teasers? Hmm. Well, I think this chapter has plenty of those LOL! But I’ll warn you that, the way it’s set up now, there’s going to be a whole lot of Inara and Zoë. Actually, the main reason I got started on the chapter-from-each-character-POV was because some of the BDHs don’t get much attention in Book II, not for the first half. But I will follow up on them all eventually.
I feel like I should have more to say… heck, I’ll just blog later or something. Thanks for all the lovely feedback, it's been fun!
I want to start out with-
I really love this whole thing. It's so emotional and it reaches inside the characters and pulls out all these things the show never got to do.
But poor Mal!! He's like Merlin growing younger, going backward in time while everyone goes forward. I hope that's the correllation I was hoping to make. It was actually from a Star Trek book, Strangers from the Sky.
River... I don't know. Just wonderful. Wanting to grow up, but she really is still a teen, having all these outlandish fantasies.
I love Simon and Kaylee together, how just puts her foot down and makes him relax and well, you know...lol.
I feel like a hack next to you. I mean that in a good way. Get published already, okay? You write better than most of the junk out in the literary dump bins of America.
Done kissing your ass. Going onto book 2.
