He watched Serenity lift off with a cry of despair. He went for his gun but it was wrenched from his hand before he could even pull the trigger. Rage descended on him, making him fight back, tearing them apart with bare hands.

Time passed in a haze of red. He hurt everyone and everything, trying to drive away the pain and betrayal that overwhelmed him and when that wasn’t enough, he cut himself instead. Then one day, he threw a body against a metal bulkhead but instead of looking away, familiar brown eyes met his angry blue ones.

If I remember right you did a piece from River's point of view. Can you link them or at least include links so they will all be read together.

Nice but both are so short I think they should be in one post.

Interesting idea though.

Oh...but that's the beauty of this series, redhead: the short but powerful collection of images being put forth. Allows for a feeling of perspective transition...though linkage between would rock;)

These pieces are powerful partly because of their brevity honed with a short sharp shock as each snapshot moves the story on. Really good and I love how you have made each section so tense. Ali D :~)
