Much to Jayne’s chagrin, he and Wash had been paired for a job.
Wash’s singing was dancing on Jayne’s well-worn last nerve.
“Kids in town…sorry. Got stuck,” Wash pointed to his head.
Later, Jayne entered the galley singing. “Do your ears hang low, do they wobble to and fro? Can you tie ‘em in knot can you tie ‘em in a bow? Can you throw them over your shoulder like an Independent soldier-“
He found Mal’s gun uncomfortably close to his nose.
“May have been a mistake,” Jayne whispered.
“Not from my end,” Wash said, face red with laughter.

Haha! Thta was perfect - I can totally see Wash singing something so silly and leaving Jayne out in the cold!

Oh...that wasn't very nice! Not nice at all;)
Definitely gotta love Wash's prankster prince behaviour here...though I get the feeling Jayne will get his revenge. Right?
