Sparkling diamonds

Shining in the trees

Floating down light as feathers

The snow danced around her

Making her feel shiny and bright

She felt beautiful

No more tears for that which she couldn't have

No more sorrows for a love never returned

She spun around and around

The beauty of the planet

Becoming a part of her

Letting snow flakes glisten on her face

Melting in her warm hands

And knowing her heart was warm

She knew she was worth more than what was offered

More than what wasn't

She was a diamond

Shining in the trees

Maybe one day he'll look up
