The world around me is a wind storm

Spinning and carrying me away

Nothing I can do to stop it

Doesn't anyone else see it

Why is it only me?

Dizzy and falling

I reach out,

For anything

A hand grabs me, and I jerk back, scared

But it starts to pull me

And it starts to feel safe

I let it pull

I don't see a face

Only shadows, saving me

The spinning is slowing I can almost step out

The hand starts to slip

I start to fall back

But it grabs on stronger, safer

Pulling quick, I'm out.

The sun is bright, blinding me

Smilling and feeling whole

Nothing but love and happiness fills me

I step up to my saviour

And lean in

A kiss for the one who saved me

But as my lips are about to touch

The sun becomes brighter, painful

And the hand lets go.

I stumble,

And realize

I wasn't as close as I thought.

And I fall.
