Blue Sun Room FILK - FILK

Looking toward the Sunrise

Tuesday, August 1, 2006

Just a random angst/fluff poem, with not much to do with much of anything. Either way, please review, cuz it makes the world all shiny. Actually, its mostly angst.

Is this everything?

Or is this something more, after all that we've been through?

Are all my hopes and dreams,

Nothing more than lies?

Looking toward the sunrise, I see your face there, smiling.

I wish that I could hold you in my arms again,

Because, since you left, I've been forever dieing.

Sometimes, I hate you, for not being here anymore,

And sometimes I hate myself, for not being with you.

I am lost without, but I need your smile to guide me,

Your lips to breathe life into me, but you are gone.

Forever gone from me, my dear, but I still need your smile,

And so, in my fear, I will look ever to the sunrise.

Oh...I see lots of meaning here, Danny...lots of Zoe-missing-Wash meaning. Maybe even another pairing, if ya want to get creative;)
