I sit here, alone again,

Waiting for the pain to die,

But I know that wont happen,

Until I stop living this lie.

I once had life, but now have none,

As I sit here, alone again,

Waiting for the pain to die,

This pain, my only friend.

I am the forsaken,

The lost untold,

Seeking e'er my cure,

Never knowing what was fortold.

I sit here, by the fire,

Wondering if I am to die,

Wondering if I am lost,

Or am I living a lie?

I am all alone again,

Here with my pain, my only friend,

And all alone with my loss again,

Waiting for myself to end.

I sit here, alone, forsaken,

Wondering what else of my life was taken,

And what else of my life was lost,

Before I died, my faith shaken.

I am a ghost, lost not found,

I am lost in this, my darkness made,

I have lost all but life and shame,

Wondering, where next is my path laid?

No more shall I wait in the shadows,

No longer will death haunt my steps,

No longer shall I be lost,

For my cure is to no longer draw breath.
