We don't want to save there. Your USB drive will most likely take the next available letter after your DVD/CD drive. So if you have only one DVD/CD drive, the most likely letter for your USB stick is going to be "E:\". I opened it another files like my book and biography and both came out Word. As I originally wrote them. But when I tried to email my book to myself again, I am back to google docs. 6ixStringJack: Let's try it this way and "Reverse Engineer" things a bit...

When you open your book and you're confident that it is your newest version (and/or the version you want to continue working on), I want you to click on "File" at the top left of Microsoft Word. Then I want you to click on "Save As". Not just "Save" it will pop up that mini-"File Explorer" window asking you where you want to save it. Then I want you to click on the "Desktop" in the left pane. Then Click on "Save". That should make an exact copy of your desired book right on your Desktop for you. If you can do this, it will make everything else a lot easier. Let me know how that goes.
