Yup. They do look like prostitutes on the red carpet. That makes sense, because they're selling their assets to get cast in another movie.
I think you missed the point I'm trying to make.
The woke DEI crowd is doing everything short of putting women with bodies like that into burkas or potato sacks in their movies, just like they're desexualizing women in video games and comic books to the point that they're androgynous.
But the women themselves know what they need to wear on the red carpet to get cast in more roles when they're not under the orders of the frumpy women given the directing jobs to look as male as possible.

It looks like you'd have to shower the AIDS off yourself in a hurry if you accidentally bumped into her.
Believe it or not, that actually is still technically a female.

Madame Web's international numbers surprised me. I had figured it would gross only $12 to $15 Million internationally.
Official numbers aren't in for the weekend yet, but it's projected to have grossed $23.355 Million in the US and $25.7 Million internationally. According to Bruce, the 5-day weekend was at play globally, and his international tab with openings on the 14th and 15th verify that.
On average on the international numbers, the money made by the end of the 2nd weekend comes very close to the money made by the end of the 1st weekend, but that's because you're comparing the first 3 opening days to the following 7 days. But now we're comparing the first 5 opening days to the following 7 days, so it will be less than that.
Numbers here in the US don't usually follow that model, but it will still be a 5 to 7 comparison, rather than the normal 3 to 7 comparison that give the movie the bonus 4th day for preview Thursday which none of the new movies get this weekend.
Unless it drops like a stone everywhere now, which there is a very good chance of happening with negative word of mouth, it's probably going to break $100 Million worldwide.
My guess, barring something crazy like a massive -80%+ drop, is that it's somewhere around $75-$80 Million worldwide by the end of next weekend.
Dune 2 comes out after that, and with the full weekly drops in play after the 2nd weekend performance it will slow to a crawl after that. But with only in the area of $29 to $25 Million left to go, it would probably hit that $100 Million fairly easily if it gets 7 or 8 weeks in the theater before its yanked.

Yanno... Everybody is celebrating Bob Marley: One Love and its trouncing of Madame Web this weekend, but honestly, $75 Million worldwide on a 5-day weekend when it had a $70 Million budget isn't exactly great shakes either. When looking at the performance of all movies in 2023 in the top 100, if a movie doesn't gross its production budget on a normal 3-day weekend the chances that it breaks even is very low, and it just barely made its budget back with a 5-day weekend.
It didn't do as well a single day this weekend as it did on Valentine's Day to boot. 18.6% of that gross so far was on a Wednesday that most movies don't benefit from in their first weekend.
Why the hell did this cost so much to make?
It's only got a 41% critics score, but it does have a 93% audience score on RT. Normally I would suspect that this would mean it has a much better chance of breaking even, but we're talking about a biopic on a long dead musician. My guess is that this movie was very much front-loaded. It will probably do pretty well the 2nd weekend since the box office this year has sucked so far, but Dune 2 is coming out after that.
It's a coinflip if this doesn't lose money for Paramount. After holiday-Monday's $5 million, it still needs $95 Million to break even.

Now that the 6-Day Hollywood Weekend and Cheap Seat Tuesday are over, we get to see how Madame Web is really going to do.
Wednesday, Day 8, saw a US gross of $861,175. 
That's an 86% drop from opening night.

That is absolutely hilarious. Seriously... Thanks for pointing that out. Nearly two months into 2024 and I hadn't even pulled up the Worldwide Box Office list for this year yet.
To be fair to Hollywood, they usually tend to dump their crap this time of year and also when summer ends and the kids go back to school. It probably should have been a red flag seeing Argylle get a February release.
I'm kind of doubting that Dune Part 2 is going to end China's dominance on the charts so far this year too. Part one only made $435 Million worldwide. Granted, it was during Covidmania, but I still don't see it doing much better than that.
And YOLO was released only 13 days ago and already made $401 Million in China alone. You can't see any real information about the money beyond that, but I'd imagine it's got a lot of gas left in the tank and probably makes more than $600 Million in China by the time it's done.
I can't believe The Beekeeper is the best we've got so far this year.
ETA: I could possibly be wrong about Dune Part 2's chances...

Bruce says Madame Web is going to gross $6.59 Million this weekend for a 57% drop.
I call bullshit.
The Marvels fell 74% on the 2nd weekend. Granted, The Marvels grossed as much on its 2nd weekend as Madame Web did in its first weekend, so it doesn't need to do a whole lot of business not to fall as far. The Marvels fell 50% in its 3rd weekend. I'm going to split the difference and call it a 62% drop for Madame Web's second weekend, and say it doesn't clear $6 Million.
