Not coughing, but I've got the runny nose and the sniffles right now.
Is it COVID-19? The flu? Or just one of the other Coronaviruses that we refer to as the common cold?
These are questions that will never be answered since even the absolute worst case projections give me nearly 100% shot of living and the only time I'd go to a doctor is if I was literally dying.

As of today, the CDC reports 10,442 confirmed cases in US, and 150 deaths.

Expect this already much lower than previously reported by the Legacy Media hacks number to fall drastically as more cases are confirmed with testing, and also keep in mind when that happens that there are quite a few people who have gotten it and have long since recovered from it, with many of them showing zero symptoms other than possibly what you'd expect from the common cold. Those people will never be added to this total and it can only be speculated how many of them there actually were.
We'll have new numbers updated tomorrow, but don't expect any over the weekend. Even though the virus doesn't take weekends off, apparently the people at the CDC who have nothing to do most of the year still get weekends off.
You should fully expect these mortality numbers to improve every single day that testing is done and the results are updated.

I think some people around here may think that I'm only trying to rub everyone's face in this and/or I'm off my nutter in conspiracy theory land. I think a lot of that had to do with my refusal to believe that AIDS is real.
I never denied that COVID was real. But from the beginning I've said that it was blown way out of proportion, and at this point many people's lives have been drastically effected to the point where a Republican president and Congress is about to cut a half a Trillion worth of checks in a desperate attempt to cover the short-term losses and complete upheaval of 320+ American's lives because of a severe overreaction.
Any way this pans out at this point, Trump loses. Maybe not the election. Time will tell about that. But the Stock Market has been crippled, and unemployment rates for the short term are projected by some experts now to rise to as much as 20%, despite the fact that Trump was overseeing the lowest unemployment rate on record in 50 years.
The Legacy Media is going to smear him until election day over this, and when COVID blows over and isn't nearly as serious as they said it was going to be, they're going to forget all about the fact that they started this shit, they roasted him on a daily basis for how he was handling it and forced him into the position we're all in now, and at least half the country is going to believe every single word of it.
Probably more than half this time, and possibly enough to get him out of office, because a lot of people who were going to vote to re-elect him might still be out of a job or looking at a devastated 401k.
The only possible good that can come out of this all in the long term is severe limits from this day forward on any immigration, and bringing back loads of manufacturing jobs in many different sectors to ensure that we're never reliant on China or any other semi-hostile nation for the stuff we need on a day to day basis.
But that's only if they follow through with any of that. And if a Democrat gets elected as president, none of it will be followed through with at all after the whole thing is over.
