Woke is a fuckin' terrible word, and I agree that it actually masks the meaning of what they're doing.
Do you even remember where it originated? Most people don't these days.
Some might argue that MTV "News" was only using a word that most people hadn't heard before, but I'm calling bullshit on that. MTV inserted that word into the vernacular in late 2016 with this commercial. That's my belief until somebody can track it down.
