Affordable college would have been nice. The government wouldn't even think of giving me a leg up since I was out on my own at 18. It didn't matter that I was on my own, my parents made too much money for FASFA loans and grants that are available to almost 100% of people who were in my situation at that time.
There was no coddling in my childhood either. Just a lot of abuse, and having to be the latchkey kid who was watching my brothers everyday. I was more adult at 12 years old than most college kids who graduate and move back in with their parents.
But go ahead. Coddle the shit out of your kid until she's 25 since that's the age you seem to think that kids magically become adults.
When she still acts like a kid at 30 and never grows up after that, don't ask me why.

As mentioned in another forum here, MAD magazine is no longer with us.
In the early to mid 2000's they started taking ad-revenue and putting ads in their magazine. They were rather tongue-in-cheek about it in MAD-fashion at the time, but that was the beginning of their downfall.
From that point onward, they were beholden to their new Corporate Masters and they lost the edginess that made them a great magazine in the first place. In recent times, just like most other forms of entertainment, they became extremely woke and just another mouthpiece for leftist agendas.
RIP MAD Magazine. Even though you died at least 15 years ago.

This website was hilariously edgy in the mid-to-late 2000's. It's practically unreadable in 2019. I haven't even bothered to look to see if they even kept any of their old articles archived. I'd imagine they have, just to say that they weren't purging them, since a lot of stuff wasn't very politically charged at the time. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of their old content has been dumped though since it seems they serve the SJW crowd today and they'd surely be bitching about a lot of their old stuff.

I don't think I'd read any articles from "The Federalist", given the clickbaity titles that they have when I see them pop up on RCP's home page. They're apparently just as far off the right side of the ranch as the CNN's and Voxes are off the left side of it.

I don't follow much about all of the British "royal" idiocy and can't even understand why they exist in 2020 at all, but I've been hearing a bit about Harry and Meghan recently and it's all quite funny, actually.
