Trump is right, and the Dems know it.
They voted for the wall, border security, many times over. But little was actually done, because of politics and the D.C. swamp mentality.
Trump is fighting the good fight, regardless of what you think of him personally. This needs to be done. Period.

Trump only has to appeal to 7 Democratic Senators and around 40 Democrats in the House. He needs to start offering the Democrats something for their votes. If Trump won’t do that, get 47 Democrats on his side, he is not getting a Wall for free.
Trump could get votes for his Wall from Houston Democrats in the House by offering to pay for the Ike Dike, a multi-billion dollar project to protect Houston from hurricanes. There are other deals Trump could do to get his votes for his Wall from the Democrats in other states. Instead of a crappy $5.7 billion Wall, he could be building his big, beautiful $30 billion wall, but he has to make a deal rather than throw a childish tantrum lasting for months. Trump makes Democratic parents want to beat their whinny children and Trump with a belt.
