I find it to be no coincidence that every single person in here who is loudly against Trump has not condemned such a message.

Allow me to quote specific parts of Frem's original post to possibly emphasize what you might be missing when you look at the entire thing.

Feel free to go back and compare it to the original post.

Why can't you just say that any threats like this from anybody, regarding anything, is wrong? What is so difficult about doing that?

Do you really hate Trump that much that you are willing to allow this type of behavior to take place and either cheer it on or sit on the sidelines and watch violence ensue?

As you said... You have no idea who Frem is. I'd like to think that if you actually did then you might possibly have a different opinion about this. Maybe not. Maybe society today really is this sick, and even the once rational are willing to slide down the path of tyranny to get what they want.

I see it az an important indicator uv the level uv disunity the Republican party haz been perpetrating upon this nation. The dejeneration uv unity iz Example Case #1 for demonstrating the failure uv the founding fatherz to create an effectiv defens agenst political partyz.

It also showz how the American version uv sivilization failz on a variety uv measurez.

Really, it iz recognizing that fundamental thingz need to be fixed and the politicianz on both sidez werent saying diddly squat about it iz wut made me start running for prez. You may hav notised that the ELECTION paje on my site iz named Job #1 in the tab at the top.

Frem's outburst was NOT well-justified, and in days of yore he would be the one to say so first, because one of the lessons that he tried to tell Bush supporters here (who were fully on-board with Bush's "unitary executive" approach) was ... Be careful of the (convenient) means that you endorse today, because tomorrow, those means will be in the hands of your enemies.

So Obama outdid Bush in terms of Executive Orders and signing statements - tactics which Republicans here were all supporting until they were used against them.

Threats of violence for political purposes is NEVER a good idea, unless you're willing to go into full-on revolution, because under those circumstances the most violent win. It's an evolutionary process which weeds out the most pacific.

And putting the blame for disunity on Republicans, when you have an example RIGHT HERE in front of you of a Dem supporter threatening violence, and of Dem supporters either egging this on or silently endorsing it ... is just plain stupid.

JO, I would not, if I were you, crow about your capabilities of seeing things from a "different" perspective, because as far as I can tell you're still more of the same.

Another angle on this:

A wile back, maybe a few yirz alredy, I posted the Thunderdome topic. A plase for seriously angry member disputes to play out. The main purpose being to keep the rest uv the topics clear uv the rancor that can rot a forum to deth.

I hav prezented the idea in several other forumz, but the adminz hav yet to understand the utility uv it.

It shoud be a plase where the usual rulez agenst personal attacks are relaxed so the pressure uv steaming raje can be harmlessly vented into the atmosfere.
Wen thingz get out uv hand (such az in this thred) the Admin haz a new tool to deal with it thats short uv banning the offender. The post iz relocated into The Thunderdome and the battle can continue there. But preferably, memberz woud start their matchez there. The combatants can get it out uv their system and the uninterested memberz dont hav to sift thru the garbaj. Thredz dont get derailed. Discourse iz raized to a more intellijent and sivil level.

I'll find it and bump it up.

JO, I think Thunderdome is a bad idea. "Letting off steam" (expressing your anger) doesn't reduce feelings of anger, it increases them. It also increases anger in the recipient, so overall everyone just gets more pissed off, not less so. Plus, things said in anger don't just go away, they leave a regrettable mark on the participants which can't be walled off into a single thread.

AND FINALLY, I doubt that people like THUGR and GSTRING would actually respect the concept of a Thunderdome thread; after all, just look at THUGR's asshole post which I'm going to quote so that THUGR can't post edit it.

Since I've been here the whole RWED is the Thunderdome. I do think it's a shame that barely anybody posts in this entire site anymore, because I've been a member of several different sites over the years and by far this is the least moderated forum I've ever known. Not that I think it's out of laziness or anything, but I think Haken and anybody else who moderates really gives a long leash to the members, and I really do appreciate that.

That being said, I'm not even asking for Frem's post to be censored. I'm also happy that it hasn't made it to the Troll forums because it is a centerpiece of an important discussion now.

What T is too stupid to realize, and what I'm still hoping J0 can figure out is that it doesn't really matter who Frem is and what he is capable of. Threats like this are just wrong no matter who makes them or for what purpose. And as I've said quite a few times already, I'm not entirely convinced that it was even Frem who posted it because the Frem I knew never would have posted it.

Seriously J0. Look at T's reply above. He really wants to be wrong here. He actually hopes that one of us dies as a result of this.
