Oh, thank you THG. We only had her for two weeks, but she had wrapped herself around our hearts and left us broken. At lease we know it was nothing we did; her enlarged heart would have killed her eventually. But it's just a terrible, terrible thing. We picked up her ashes Friday and, in a sense, she is home again.

We've got clouds this morning and rain predicted for tonight. I'm going to make a big pot of veggie soup for dinner and turn on the gas log fireplace. Because it's October, we've been watching scary movies and shows to get us in the 'mood'l Hope all enjoy their Tuesday!

MMMM...the veggie soup was awesome; and with the damp, rainy weather here it was perfect for dinner. I think I'll make 'Rumpled Rudolfs' tonight...basically sloppy joes but with venison.

Pizza night for us tonight.
Our local mom and pop shop just reopened this week after getting COVID closed.
Good stuff, the chain pies don't even compare.

YUM for good pizza!! For years, that's been my 'go to' on my birthday! In our family we each choose what we want for dinner on our birthdays...so YAY, Moose; glad you got your favorite back!!
