Happy October First!! We live out in the country so we haven't had ANY trick or treaters in 20 years....but I still get bags of candy, just 'in case' and we end up having treats ourselves all winter long.

It's EARLY Monday morning; we got a new puppy yesterday and she got me up at 4AM to go outside; She's an adorable little thing; Toy Fox Terrier...all our other dogs are delighted with the new addition...I'll need a nap later to catch up on my sleep. Smallish droppings, though!!

Two wake ups overnight to take the puppy out....2 am and 4 am..my dear husband took over at 6 am so now it's raining and I keep thinking about the sound of rain on a tent!!
