Seryn unbuckle her seat belt, turns and kneels on her seat, making a grab for the computer, "what is it doing..?"
she picks the laptop up, fingers pressing on buttons, Wisp yelps, grabbing for the thing himself. they struggle, back and forth like a bad comedy sketch, and Seryn is resisting the urge to bite his fingers when Wisp yelps and a sensation like being hit by really fluffy and incredibly heavy kittens engulfs them both.
When she comes to, she's standing up, but it takes her a while to work that out. She hot, very very hot, and suffocating. Leaning against something, yeilding but not soft, covered in fine springy..... OH MY GOD WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN HERE!?!
Staring at her, mouth open shirt still unbuttoned and now plastered to his skin by the hot shower water running over them, is Wisp.
"War.. be... huh?"
"I don't know!"
She smell floral stuff, spies a row of bath products and a buch of clean towel.
"this is a girls bathroom! You *prod* are in the *prod* wrong place!" *prod*
Wisp covers up his chest where she keeps poking him with a shap finger and they both try to get out of the shower. Theres a struggle, and they both slip and slide about more than once. But eventuall they gain their freedom, and sit either ends of the room, rubbing at their hair with towels and glaring.
"Yikes, so it was all just a dream, but did we have to end up in the same shower?
Wisp look forlornly at his ruined pants. And she softens a bit.
"Shall we go get something to eat?"

I'd agree with you there Jake - I think that's a great idea. Having spin-off threads for differnet adventures, and then coming back to the Tree to relax. It might mean more "SereniTree and her spinoffs" threads, but at least it wont cause so mcuh confusion and multiple stories in the same thread

OOC: I disagree with spin-off threads. That will undermine the sense of community we've created here, and I for one would have great difficulty trying to keep 2 or even more threads' storylines straight.

well that's the beauty of it, if you didn't want to take part in a certain adventure/mission, you could ignore it
Plus any threads would be temporary, they'd be like novel tie-ins to a series. The series is still going on, but occasionally you'd have an individual story

I think you misunderstand me. The beauty of Sereni-Tree to me is that there are several storylines going at the same time all in one place, and you have the opportunity to choose whether you'd like to be involved or not. But if we seperate every single adventure, it makes it much more difficult for someone to subtly influence or help out in a storyline because they have to make the effort to find the other thread, read all the posts there, and join up. I welcome the chance to be able to fight and read about others' backstories, but what I'm saying is if each fight and backstory had to be on a different thread, this would get way too complex and I wouldn't want to read each seperate thread. Sererate threads make it harder for all our stories to intertwine, which I find to be quite interesting and entertaining when it happens like it used to.
But if that's what you all want, go right ahread. I've only been on the Tree for 10 or 12 threads now, so perhaps I'm too new to know any better. All I know is, in my opinion seperate threads mean more hassles and less community than what we already have.
Also, JADE! How does it look? Cheesy? Nice? I'm so excited!
