Why do women love Jayne?

You know...I wasn't really into hairy men before I saw Jayne. But...he brought me around on a lot of things.
Well first of all I like tall. I think his height more than anything else gets my engine revved. He is a big bear of a man and could probably pick me up, thats worthy of more engine revving. And Jaynes personality is good too. He may be a bit dim, but he has a soft side, that goes along well with is animalistic side.
Everyone on the ship, with the exception of Simon (for me at least), has qualities. I'd have to say the only character I'd put above Jayne in sexiness is Wash.

He'd be good for a nice tumble, but nothing more profound. I don't see him as squishy and cuddly inside.
Caring, in a way that would benefit him, sure. And I do like his blunt honesty instead of tiptoing around his feelings.
Him and Kaylee? Eh. No.

Well, not much to really say on the matter other than the man is just... *sigh* Ok, let's see if I can explain my love of the man: He's just beautiful for one thing. The picture of a manly man, tall, scruffy, strong. Has simply gorgeous blue eyes! And his smile and laugh, my, my! But also he just seems like when the chips are down he'd be there. Yes, his life of crime has made him a greedy man, but I think when it comes right down to it the man has a big heart. Also I think he'd be a hell of a cuddler, dunno why.
Oh and 'Jaylee'... no, sorry. I love Simon and Kaylee together too much for that. I'm more a 'Rayne' kinda girl.

Glad someone revived this..as we were just discussing Jayne gently patting Saffron consolingly in Our Mrs. Reynolds in another thread...

I didn't notice this was an old thread at first and when I got to the fight about whether his eyes are blue or not I thought, oh no, are we arguing about THIS again?? LOL!
I think AB is a very fine looking man in a very approachable way. He looks like somebody one might actually meet some day. Plus he is almost exactly my age (with a few days) and looks like some of the guys I actually know around here in the Midwest (only he takes better care of himself than most of them). He looks like he would be NICE as well as good looking and funny.
I suppose I like him on some deep, biological level, the level that says, "Nice man, would make good husband and father of children." Kind of irritates me that I would think that way, but I think it's the truth.
Jayne, though? Not so much. I love the character to death, but have to recognize that it's really Adam Baldwin who is flipping my switches, not the character he plays.

Not going to bash Jayne because a) I like the character b) this is a Jayne lovin'' thread, not a Jayne hatin' thread and c) Hippies are all about spreading the love 
- just wanted to give a shout out to all the ladies who don't find Jayne attractive. Got nothing against Adam, but Jayne is not my type!
That's it. Just mentioning that there are some weirdos like me out there. Please continue the Jayne lovefest. I'll be taking care of Mal and Simon, since they're looking a little lonely...

See for me it's Jayne not Adam. Adam is a serious family man with a wife and kids. Very straight arrow and all...Jayne on the other hand is trouble with a capital T and he is ( in the immortal words of Lord Byron) mad, bad, and dangerous to know.
