The men continue the shuffle dance- which is also being recorded for prosperity. 
Thru the screen they hear an awful clatter that doesn't match the onscreen action but are too engrossed to care much...

Flechette and Amy are in almost a tight embrace as Serenity, Willie, and the Captn- for a completely different reason.
Flechette's laughing so hard, she's crying - Amy is losing her struggle to stay quiet, support Flechette (who is only upright cause of Amy and the wall), and help Flechette muffle her helpless laughter.
Their eyes meet- Flechette gasps, "Baow cheeky Baow" and Amy joins Flechette in a belly-rolling laugh and the two of them wind up in a heap on the floor- of course knocking over anything not bolted down already.
Lexa and Blossom exchange a look that clears says, "Humans! Go Figure!"

"Ok, here we go. They should beright about ..." Safe turns to find the womenfolk standing behind them, hands on hips toes tapping.
"Oh poop..."

Once again sorry about not being around more - have been getting ready for a lot of traveling this next month or 2
4/29- May 6th Walt Disney World !! YEA! I love Disney despite having No children
2 weeks later - long weekend on Hilton Head SC
week after that visiting Tims family in DC
roughly 10 days later Tim heads off for out of state training
1 week later family wedding in AZ by my lonesome
approx 3 weeks after that Tim head overseas - not sure if I have to go to him or he'll get back to NC before heading out.
Whew!
So as I run in what feels like a hundred directions I do think of my crew family frequently and swear I'll make time to find the latest thread. And here I am. I don't think I'll be around all that much til July but we all seems to be taking a break
So best wishes to all! I'll check in when I can.

"Look! Over there!" Safe yells suddenly, pointing to a spot behind the girls "Hugh Jackman nekked!"
As the girls turn, pushing each other out of the way for a good view, Safe sprints in the opposite direction headed for the engine room.
He looks over his shoulder at the girls as he runs and grins "Suckers.."
A low hatch offers up some poetic justice.
The sound of a bell being rung echos through the ship as Safe's head fails to clear the hatch, spinning him, head over heels, and depositing him on the floor.
"lookit all the pretty birdies..."

Wow, I didn't realize quite how many days it had been since I read this last--or should I say, since I laughed last? Truly, the writing, singing, humorous talent of this group is why we're still flying! Love you guys! The songs were great, as was the hilarity!
Amy wipes tears of laughter from her eyes, pats Flechette on the back, and tries to stand up straight. "Ooh, my tummy! Hurts from laughing" Amy decides that lying on the catwalk for a while might be the best relief. Good view of everyone's shinanigans, safe distance from the crazy folk of this crew.
How is everyone? I appreciated the catch-up from Flechette, anyone else have news? This week I've been getting two friends started on Firefly--one's firmly hooked after two episodes, the other I'm still working on. Will try to convert more friends the first weekend in May. Also, sewing up a bunch o'fancy garb :) With Indian fabric that always makes me think of Inara's costumes.

Flechette, it certainly does sound like you'll be busy! I hope you both have a really nice time and we look forward to when you do return to the board, whenever you can.
Serenity - Those pics are awesome! You're right Flechette and Tim DO look like a cute couple. I've seen some of those pics before, but I'm not sure what the latest are of. Did I see Jousting?!
Also, the pic of the Llama - LOL! Always think of Serenity when I hear them mentioned.
As for the story... I'll get to that in a bit, I'm off to watch the Ricky Gervais episode of The Simpsons now
