Ni Howdy, all... Thought it time to put in a new log entry... Was looking for total # of DVD box set sales for Firefly but no luck on those numbers. But was happy to see FF boxset at #24 as of Jan. 26, and for Dec. 31, 2007, FF boxset was #12... Pretty Gorramn Shiny for a show not been on a Network lineup for over 5 years. what was that quote from Kevin Smith? "Don't F$@k with Browncoats... They're cheering a show that's not even on." I've been away for a while now. The last few months have been rather hard on me, or perhaps it is more accurate to say that I made my life an ordeal for the past year or so. Nevertheless, it recently occurred to me that I have to change the way I go about things, and that my failure/refusal to do so would result in my dying. And I don’t want to die. So, I guess you could say that I’m following the only course left to me ☺ I aim to get back in touch with the things that used to bring me joy and peace of mind. Maybe I’ll pick up the guitar again. Maybe I’ll get back to writing, or drawing. We’ll see. At the moment, I’m focusing on recognizing and appreciating my strenghts and letting things come to me, or not, for a little while.

OK, we are all a little obsessed over this show or we wouldn't be on this fan site. Here are ten things I thought would identify the Totally Obsessed Fans. Check the list and add up the ones that apply to you. Here's the list. You know you are obsessed with Firefly if: 1. You can quote lines of dialouge, knowing who said what, when, why, and where, from all episodes and Serenity. 2. You dream of Firefly and/or the actor's in it. 3. You've written at least one fanfic about Firefly. 4. You watch anything the nine main characters are in even if it's crap. 5. You have a Firefly actor's name on your Myspace friend's list. 6. You've spent your months rent and car payment to get to a convention to have your photo taken with a Firefly actor. 7. You feel physical withdrawal if you don't watch at least one episode of Firefly per week. 8. You cried when Wash and Book died in the BDM. And do so on repeated DVD viewings. 9. You know every detail of some or all of the main actor's lives and troll the web looking for stories and pics about them and the show. 10. You would give up your life savings and a kidney to finance the shows return to production. Please feel free to add any others you can think of. By the way, I scored 8 out of 10. I've never been to a convention or met any of the actors. I didn't cry when Wash and Book died because I saw the movie before the show and had nothing invested in the characters. Stay shiny!
