As you all know, today is the seventh anniversary of the release of Serenity, but it is also ThatWeirdGirl and mine's first wedding anniversary. That's not a coincidence. We met here on FFF.net, where we became friends for a number of years, and then more when schedules allowed. If it hadn't been for Firefly and Fireflyfans.net, I'm not certain where I'd be.
So, Haken, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you so much.

Now that that's out of the way, time for a change in profile!
I've been away from Fireflyfans.net for some time, and I wish I hadn't. I'll try to be a better patron to this site in the future. I've been a member on this site for years on end...okay, it's approach seven, but that's still years, plural! And I love it too much to stay away for whatever reason.
I'm currently a graduate student, seeking a Masters in Library and Information Science. I'm engaged to ThatWeirdGirl, who I met on this website many, many years ago. We've been together for almost five years now. I'm a father of two children and a fryer of most foods.
Anyways...Watched The Train Job on Fox back in 2002...Loved it...was sad when the show was cancelled, and, one day in Korea, noticed the DVDs sitting on the shelf. Spent literally every cent I had to buy them, and starved the rest of the month, but, it was so worth it. Led me here to FFF.net and on to other, bigger and better things that I won't go into here, but might later.
And, for all that, I love Firefly!
