About two weeks ago, I ran across the Independent Film Channel website and realized this would be a perfect "home" for our favorite Independents... So I sent them an email and just received their response today... See below. I wrote: >>>

When writing a formal essay, it is important to remember one thing above all else. All sentences begin with capital letters and end with either question marks or PERIODS!!! Not commas, not semicolons, not dashes, not brackets, not random characters, and not mid-word. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!!! *sob*

Hey All As I wait like everyone else for the new eps of LOST to come on (although I am glad that the initial hype over it is over and people see that it is in fact a flawed show), my mind wanders. And usually when my mind is wandering, I listen to some Monty Python. Specifically bits from LIFE OF BRIAN, which is my favorite of the three Python movies. And one scene and minor character has planted in my mind what I think would be a really funny scene for LOST. Jack is in his cell, and hear something coming from the speaker. He comes in closer to hear the faint voice over it, until it finally become clear and this is what he hears. Voice: You lucky bastard. Jack: Whose there? (Looks around and sees across from him another cell with a man [Ben] hanging from some chains against a wall.) Ben: You lucky, lucky bastard. Jack: What? Ben: Quite the Others little pet, arn't you? Jack: The hell do you mean? Ben: You must have slipped them a few hundred buck, didn't you? Jack: Slipped him a few hundred? You saw them tie me up. Ben: Oh, what wouldn't I GIVE to be tied up. I sometimes stay awake all just dreaming about being tied up like a pig. Jack: Well it's not exactly friendly, isn't it. They had me gagged with a hood over my head. Ben: Gagged and with a hood!!! Ohhh, my idea of heaven, is to be allowed to be gagged with a hood over my head. Just for a few hours. They must think the sun shines out your ass, sonny. Jack: Oh fuck off, I've had a hard time. Ben: YOU HAD A HARD TIME! I'VE BEEN HERE FIVE YEARS!! THEY ONLY HUNG ME THE RIGHT WAY UP YESTERDAY!!! So don't you come around. Jack: All right, all right. Ben: They must think you're God all mighty. Jack: What'll they do to me? Ben: Oh probably just get away with brainwashing. Jack: BRAINWASHING!!! Ben: Yeah. First offense. Jack: Get away with brainwashing?!? That's- Ben: Best thing the Others did for us. Jack: WHAT!!! Ben: Oh if it wern't for brainwashing, this island would be in a right bloody mess. Jack: GUARD!!! Ben: CLEAN THEM OUT, I SAY!!! Jack: GUARD!!! Ben: PROGRAM SOME SENSE INTO THEM. (Some scuzzy looking Other comes in) Other: What do you want? Jack: I want you to move me to another cell. Other: Hah (spits in Jacks face) Ben: Oh, look at that. Bloody favoritism. Other: Shut up, you. Ben: Sorry. (Mr. Friendly comes in) Mr. Friendly: Henry wants to see you. Jack: Me? Mr. Friendly: Come on!!! Jack: What does he want to see me for? Mr. Friendly: I think he wants to know which way you want to be tortured. Ben: (laughs) Nice one, I like it. Mr. Friendly: Shut up!! Ben: Right. (everyone else leaves) Teriffic people, the Others. Bloody teriffic. And I know Henry Gale's real name is Ben and all that, but I don't care. Just thought it would be funny for there to be a chatty prisoner being held captive by the Others telling either Jack or Sawyer how good they had it.

ive already put up the first part of episode 2 and the 2nd part is in production my thoughts for epesode 3 are to jump in time slightly from finishing the Job (if you cast your mind or double check part 1 of the wreck you will see the job stated by Mal as transporting a theartre group) to arriving on phersphone (spelt it wrong but to lazy to look up actual spelling) and will involve Badger and the unwelcome return of Sir Atherton Wing

Hi there, I had my exam on the Jarrow Crusade today. I have no clue how it went and I am not one to speculate but the questions were fair and not completely impossible. I did the documentary commentary on the statue outside Morrison's in Jarrow and the two questions on health in the 1930s and the role of the Labour party in the promotion of the legend of the crusade. I now have five and a bit days off so I plan to spend them doing as little as possible. I've just started a knitting pattern. I'm attempting a teddy. I might be going to Sunderland tomorrow to see a play at the University. My firend Bobby invited me and I can't actually remember what it's about but it sounded interesting at the time.
